Still think I’d prefer Al Harris over Morris at this point, but considering Morris was my choice for HC two years ago (I know I know) I’ve got no problem with him as DC.

For some reason I struggle to get behind Raheem Morris as the next Defensive Coordinator. I’ve never felt he oversaw elite defenses due to his impact. He was the Rams DC during their Super Bowl run but that defense had a HOF talents in Aaron Donald & Jalen Ramsey and was well regarded before he took over.
I don’t remember his stint as DC for Atlanta in 2020 going well considering the team allowed an above average amount of ppg before Quinn was fired. He seems like a good culture leader but not a top defensive strategist or playcaller like Quinn was at least as a DC.
Keep Morris TF away from this team

Although id much rather have Raheem than Joe Whitt.
Id like for us to go younger with the DC position, but Raheem def makes sense with the connections to DQ
Dan Quinn won’t be able to secure either of them.

Miami is my AFC team, Washington is my NFC team. For those who don’t know, McDaniel himself wasn’t the problem in Miami. He shouldn’t have been put in the position to be HC and OC on his team – and he got dealt a bad hand with them drafting Tua before his hiring. It worked REALLY well… until it didn’t.
If he’s calling the plays with Jayden and co… WOW. That has me very excited! I hope Harris makes the McDaniel hire ASAP!
