Considering no leaks until now…This narrative comes from Kliff's agent and possibly the agents of the coaches that were fired.
This is a symptom of being 5-12
Yall drinking the juice. It’s some one on the outside.
Cosmi is cheeks, peters is cheeks, junks are cheeks
Seriously….what's the BIG DEAL!! The team just endured an absolutely horrible season and changes across the board must be made. Kliff and Whitt are gone…SO WHAT!!! We were getting our asses handed to us so they had to go imo…maybe DQ as well. At any rate I'm focused on moving forward and righting the ship…PERIOD! Let's get these OC and DC hires right and get back on track. These local media outlets specialize in cryin', bitchin' and moanin'…always making way more of issues surrounding the Commanders. Take a damn chill pill and allow this team to move forward without your crap commentary
People keep saying "he has such a loyalty to his guys" Every coach brings their guys along with them. Why are we running with this narrative that he's too loyal to his guys?
I think Kliff has a lot of tricks in his bag and he can call some amazing plays, but he doesn't seem to put them all together in an effective game plan, or with any consistency and rhythm–not this year. His pistol formation sometimes seems exposed and predictable, especially when there was no pre-snap motion which seemed like a heck of a lot of the time in the games I watched. I think the Shanahan style offense will protect Jayden more and actually make them harder to defend. At any rate Jayden's rush per carry was down in 2025, 4.8 from 6.0 in 2024, suggesting that teams are figuring out how to fill those lanes on the RPOs, especially as the Commanders have been change averse on offense in 2025. IN the NFL, you show teams the same things week after week, they figure out how to stop them. If Kliff was not going to adapt and get more creative when things weren't working then he had to go. Coordinators come and go all the time, even if just to take a new job, as with Detroit last season. Head coaches come and go too . One of the reasons is that a change in philosophy and method is sometimes needed to break through. If Kliff were going to take a head coaching job which would probably more likely have happened anyway if the team had repeated it's success, they'd be in exactly the same position and Jayden would have to deal with a new coordinator and possibly a new system. Kliff was never going to be here for all of Jayden's career, so for the people who are wringing their hands about what a great mistake this is, they are being ridiculous, because Washington was not ever going to be Kliff's forever home. Get a grip and embrace the fact that we now have a chance to break out of this stymied offense.
The Commanders needs Bustin, period – Bustin "Fumble" Fields can get your team a top 5 draft pick, every year- Trade, sell, do anything you can to get Bustin "Fumble" Fields
Y'all are just making up your own narratives based on tiny unsubstantiated reports. I get that you're in the content mill industry and you have hours to fill, but this entire video is just four dudes making shit up.
I think Grant Paulsen put his finger on my concern in the Take Command podcast – IF you have philosophical differences with KK, why'd you hire him? Kliff was a known commodity. Still is. This is what he was always going to do. If the answer is 'well, we changed our mind because the complementary football ramifications were larger than expected', I'm fine with that. I don't expect anyone in any line of work to have ALL the answers all the time, and having the intellectual flexibility to admit a mistake and change is a better sign for the future than stubbornly doubling down.
But I do feel like far from Kliff's offense working worse than expected, it exceeded all of my expectations for it. I'd still rather be in the Shanahan style tree myself, but that has weaknesses too. Nothing has no weaknesses. I feel like the weaknesses of Kliff's variant of Air Raid (though he doesn't want to call it that, I have no better name) were/should have been well understood. Why are we surprised?
AP is calling the shots…DQ is a agreeing and it gets him one more year. You mean to tell me that DQ is deciding who to bring in for interviews. No way.
Mike McDaniels is going to be our new OC. The decision to move on from Kliff makes sense now
Snyder Era 2.0
No yall love drama 😂😂😂
The owner has had enough!
Two top priorities are hire Mike McDaniel and extend Laremy Tunsil ASAP.
