  7. There are too many unknowns to know whether this can be graded yet. It's surprising, but this makes the transition for JD5 less jarring. I think they probably know that McDaniel is not going to be available or doesn't want to be an OC. I'm certain DQ had a conversation with him…but Blough must be a hell of an interview with so much riding on it for Quinn to go with him. One thing is for sure, not a lot of teams are going to know what to expect from a Blough offense. This is a dicey move. I thought they'd go for a sure thing. It's too much of an unknown for me to even be disappointed. I'm a little like, okay what can this guy dream up?

  9. Having someone in-house that Jayden Daniels is already familiar with and he’s already familiar with Jayden Daniels is probably a smart move

  10. I'm on the fence here, guess it'll be a wait and see thing now…….I wanted a new Head Coach as well, hope these moves work out and AP kills it in this year's draft.

  13. In my opinion, it won't matter what kind of scheme he runs if we don't bring in better players to work with. We need a better tight end, hopefully someone like Breece Hall to pair with JCM, and another wide out. I also hope he saw what Not to do with playing JD in shotgun 99 percent of the time.

  14. It's a huge gamble on David Blough, but I like a young mind of offense the way of these top teams in the NFL, so I'm excited that we have a change and hopefully for the better.

I like the information that you are sharing with watching Commander's fan and yeah in house and all who you said was he was coached under those some pretty good names and pretty good offense of mine coach who he was assistant under Detroit Minnesota and Kingsbury yeah it'll be nice to see Jayen Daniel underneath the center yeah

  25. Great analysis Jack. A good blend of optimism with a healthy dose of caution. I'm glad to see the Commanders going with a bit of a gamble here instead of going the safe route with an established play caller. We've seen too many up and coming coaches come and go. It's time we lock one in.

  34. Smart analysis about Blough, Jack! Now let the Kingsbury attachment go. Kliff needed to go. He's breaking Daniels, he's inflexible, and the league has caught up to him. Don't be surprised if he's back in Thailand next summer.

  35. Hiring this guy reminds me of a scene from Aliens "How many drops is this for you lieutenant" ? 38 Simulated " How many Combat drops"? Two including this one
