Giants head coaching rumors remain focused on former Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. The New York Giants and Miami Dolphins are considered the top 2 NFL teams likely to hire John Harbaugh as their next head coach. NY Giants Now by Chat Sports host Marshall Green shares his thoughts on Craig Carton via WFAN saying, “What would you say if I told you that the reason the Dolphins were never a threat to steal Johnny Harbaugh from the New York Giants is that Stephen Ross and Jim Harbaugh hate each other. They are not close. They hate each other. They do not have a good relationship. They do not have an active relationship. Things went south between Jim Harbaugh and Stephen Ross over a lot of the things that took place at Michigan while Jim Harbaugh was there. All right. So the notion that all you idiots have gone forward with about how, oh, the Ross family is really close to the Harbaugh family and Jim has vouched for his brother and Stephen Ross had great success at Michigan. They won a national championship with Jim, so he’s gonna go to John. Jim Harbaugh and Stephen Ross do not speak to each other. They are not good friends. They do not vacation together. They do not go to each other’s homes and celebrate the holidays. So the notion that Stephen Ross was in bed somehow with the Harbaugh family is just factually incorrect.”

  13. My question is what has he done the past 8 years with arguably the best qb and roster in football?
    Even the past two seasons Henry Lamar flowers ect ?
    U guys see a name a think we the giants are going to be a 14 win team because of a regular season successful coach! 3 playoff wins in 8 years we won one with Daniel jones 😂 I think u need to chill out and not rush the process and let us hire the best coach for our team is . Who’s better at developing dart !
    Stefanski is a better coach for the giants . Maybe even McCarthy

  15. I like Harbaugh but let's not go crazy! All we need is a seasoned HC to bring us to the promised land
    "The Super Bowl!" McCarthy can get the job done with the talent on this team! He did great with Dallas. You forget Harbaugh had "Lamar Jackson" and they couldn't even win a PLAYOFF game, forget a Super Bowl appearance!
    Harbaugh definitely knows the tricks of coaching and I think the Giants will make it to the Promised Land with him, but let's not get all dramatic with Harbaugh!

  18. Sometimes families drive decisions at a certain point. There are other reasons to go to Miami. But I agree—from a football perspective not even close. Willis isn't bad, but he will make trades for Burrow, who else could he get??? Draft Carson Beck?

  20. I REALLY want Harbaugh to be the Giants headcoach but lets not get tunnel vision and set our hearts to one coach. The next coach should also really want to be here and buy into the team. The Schoen situation wont be a threat if Harbaugh doesn't want to work for him. LETS GO GIANTS lets get this right.

  31. Well, I suppose it's an improvement when you're guaranteed to lose 2 fourth quarter leads instead of 4…
    He IS the best coach on the market.
    Let's hope he gets hired and then maybe The Mara's will finally get rid of Joe Shoen after this season.

  36. I heard that John Harbaugh wants total control.. the Giants are traditionally don't like giving total power to a head coach. That is the end of this.. the problem is not money is how much control the Giants are willing to give John Harbough and How much Control John wants for a team.. the team that most likely to give him total control is a team like LV Raiders and I thought Miami but now i think it may be Tampa or team like Cleaveland. its not money that will get Harbaough it is the willingness to give him control

  38. The biggest threat of us not getting him are the gm if we here that they move on from the gm that means we got John Harbaugh but he won’t come here with schoen he don’t run things like that!! So if we don’t hear another thing we can blame are wonderful gm still being here
