  1. You hear what you want to hear!
Tucker and Bo are worth 200 million.
Of course Tucker is interested in the Jays – they're the only team that said they will pay his demand so far!
400 million for a regressing Tucker (30+ mil a season) hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha – dummee ball.
There is a thing called (value) in business, more production for less expenditure – this is key to successful companies and it doesn't change with sports. Shatkins has a history for paying 100$ for a crispy thigh at Church's Chicken because he was slightly hungry and believes that is the (value), so Tucker makes sense to him – it doesn't make sense to winning. Example: Clement, Straw, Lukes, Yesavage give high end production for little cost – like Shead does for the Raptors and like FFV and Powell did for the Raps at one time – who as well went to the finals ONLY RAPS ACTUAL WON. This allows for more financial flexibility in other positions. Example 2: Tucker in 2022-23, made roughly 11+ million per season, his two best seasons, the value was there, Houston won a championship one of those seasons – since 2023 Tucker has regressed (more than you would like), couldn't help the Cubs deep team win in two seasons and now wants 400 million (30+ million a season) for regressing and aging. Tucker will never top 100 RBI's again or get 30 HR's again and now you are paying premium. Tucker will turn out like O'Reilly and Stamkos for the Preds. When Tucker sucks two years from now, Jays are stumbling – you'll want him traded like its that easy and demand the next 500 million slob who lucked out on a down FA year and a desperate team willing to overpay. And when Tucker can't be moved – it will be your fault for wanting the lout so badly! But you all won't be accountable for that!

  2. I don't understand the Bo to the Phillies move and why it would require them to move off of Realmuto and Bohm. Bohm's a 3B and Realmuto's the starting catcher. If it would cause anyone to move, it would be Trea Turner to 2B and Bryson Stott to the bench. That feels like someone's blowing smoke up our asses.

  3. Tucker reminds me of Ryu Hyun-jin – not worth the money, you can see the decline but was the best available starter on the market that year and Shatkins was desperate to win. Jays media and fans pushed hard, screamed loudly, wanting-wanting-wanting new and needing Jays management to fulfill that immature emotional immediate impulse they couldn't control – they demanded Jin because he was the "best available FA". They showed his best stats and said (I didn't know the game, mocked me, criticized me) when I pushed hard to not sign Jin – just like they did when I said play Max last fall. Now, here comes a declining Tucker, asking for more for giving less (compared to his best years) and just like monkee humans do, they forgot about yesterday, yesterday … and repeat their dummeeness. Tucker is Jin all over again only 4 times the money and we'll have to deal with him longer when he sucks.

  4. Bichette is 100 percent not coming back to Toronto. Jays need to push Tucker for a signing or they won’t get anyone. By saving on Bo and getting okamoto for cheap they can over pay a bit for Tucker to force a fast signing

  5. I have to disagree with Nick when he quotes Ken Rosenthal as as authoritative source, this same gentleman that advised that Ohtani was on a plane on his way to Toronto to cross the T's and dot the I's on his contract.

  6. If Kyle Tucker wants to play for the Jay's why in God's name is he taking so long to put his name on the dotted line? I'm to a point I don't want to hear anything about it until he does that.

  7. For FFFF sakes resign Bo Bichette and then go and sign Tuker. Rodgers has the money to sign both so get off your ass Atkins and get it done. Atkins doesn't realize how many fans will be pissed off if they dont sign Bo Bichette. Sign them and get it done. Dont break up the chemistry this blue Jay team. If it wasn't grom Bo Bichette the jays wouldn't been so close of winning the WS. Now you're going let him walk are you nuts. You dont treat your best hitter like this. Smarten up Atkins and sign Bo Bichette.

  8. Honestly this is all getting old. If Tucker is even considering the Mets it's all about money. With what the Mets have lost because all the insanity going on internally in that clubhouse. If Tucker chooses that he doesn't deserve to be apart the team and culture this team has and the support of a country. To Bo wish u all the best in your future endeavors it's to bad it's about money.

  9. As much as I like Bo, Tucker makes a lot more sense moving forward. The infield is pretty locked in with the signing of Okamoto. Barger can cover RF or 3rd when needed as well. We also have to consider when Springer's contract comes off the books, signing Tucker gives us more flexibility.

  10. I do believe Tucker want to play for the Dodgers. Just look at this batting lineup……
    Ohtani
    Betts
    Tucker
    Freeman
    Smith
    Hernandez
    Muncy
    Edman
    Pages
That would be pretty dominant adding Tucker.

  11. We could have had Bo back. If we would offered him a fair deal as soon as could. Making play for Tucker was an insult. Tucker isn't worth 400 million. He's made of glass. I don't think getting either now.

  12. Let's face it and just my opinion but who wants to bring their family to New York? Not to many at the moment! Specially the rich who are now ask to pay for that mess.

  13. The only problem with your leverage theory with the Mets is Robert Murray mentioned the Mets Dodgers and Blue Jays as a favorites over a month ago

  14. Every account of the Blue Jays “monster” offseason neglects to consider that they’re losing a star if they don’t being back Bo.

I think Tucker’s the guy, don’t get me wrong, but if they don’t bring bo as well then it’s like cool , “we replaced bo and added an extra 15 percent of Tucker”

  15. Guys just relax.. bo is decent player. Defense and running is not to good, he has no pop in his bat.. it's called addition by subtraction. We will not resign bo and we will no get tucker. We will have a way better team next year.
