I was at a game recently and saw this jersey in the rafters. Curious as what it was because there is no player name only kraken on the nameplate.

32nd team in the NHL
32 minutes is all it took to sell out of season tickets when the team was announced. (well the intent and deposit to buy season tickets)
That was retired for the fan base. 32nd franchise and I think we sold out our season ticket presales in 32 minutes
Kraken are the 32nd NHL team, and commemorated the 32k season ticket registrations in the first 24 hours by retiring the 32 number for the fans at the start of their first season.
32nd team in the league so they’ve reserved the number 32 for the fans/franchise.
Before there were any players, they sold jerseys with 32 on them, for example.
Facepalm
That’s all of us! ❤️🦑
It’s also conveniently the freeze point for water
similar to the Seahawks 12. Number for the fans
Typical Seattle sports culture where they hang banners for useless shit like Seahawks retiring the number 12
