2. So I’m a fan since 87. Truth is this has been a bad team for three years. The hot early season starts are not indicative of the team’s quality. Most teams need a break in month. If you take away this bullshit point for making overtime, we are and have been a .500 team. Team has talent and heart but lacks depth and aggression. Now they’re in their own heads. Still love them but there needs to be a shift before this team is competitive. Likely a couple of years. Sucks but that’s where it’s at. Here’s to the future.

6. Interesting to watch the Avalanche destroy the Sens 8-2 the other night. This should be required watching for all of the Devils. The Sens picked fights, crashed the net, and didn’t roll over and die. That’s what you do when getting smacked – show some heart

8. Gearing for HEMV meant that we were expect some tight 2-1, 3-2 wins.

   Not EVERY GAME. And almost none of these are wins! And the team's not even violent anymore! Worst of both worlds!

   LIGHTER, SOFTER, MORE RESERVED has evolved from a joke to locker room philosophy.

9. Ace, I know I’ve said this a few times, but I have to scream from the mountain tops every day until something changes… give us a team/product that we can feel proud of. It’s just so freakin embarrassing to be a fan rn.

10. I wasn't exactly enthralled walking into the Golden Knights fortress but thankfully that game was a good one to be there for. My suspicions have been confirmed and this dumpster fire needs a new Fire Department to put it out. I'll consider watching at best, at my discretion, of course.

12. Team is full of washed up, injured, or young players that haven't launched properly. Nico and Allen are pretty much the only two players that I can't put in one of those categories right now.

13. Harris & Blitzer have utterly destroyed this franchise. They refuse to make changes, give Fitz carte blanche to do whatever he wants, and they give the fans the middle finger. So, it's time to give them the finger by not spending our hard-earned money on this trash.

14. At the end of the day, it all goes back Fitz putting himself in the corner by giving 90% of the roster trade protection, whisking away more and more problems onto the roster cap ship that's still sailing but ready to tip over at the slightest fault.

    Now we're sinking, and due to horrible foresight, ineptitude, laziness, or a combination of all 3, we've missed out on opportunities to right the ship and we can only watch this team go down while our joke of a GM whistles along and accepts 2nd place.

15. 19:07 I have never seen a Phantom Ace glitch quite like this. Guessing the video filled in the missing footage with the first frame of the raw footage before you sat down, but if your hardware's write speed and performance aren't too strained and you have the storage than I wouldn't see why that would happen. Odd

    I agree the Philly game was start but also really began with the Quinn fumble not Boo gate.

19. Ace, I was at the last game of the season vs Ottawa in 95. Think it was the closest I ever sat to the glass. Saw it that up close Ha ha.

20. I feel I should apologize to all the marketing/ticketing people who have e-mailed and especially phoned me to sell me tickets over the last several weeks. Though it's not their fault, and they're just doing their job, these folks have caught the full depth of my fury during these interactions.

After fritz messed up and couldn't talk to anyone to wave to bring in quinn they lost chemistry and moral they are done to many clauses and being at the full cap hit to being over they need to do something and scratch some of the player's a game to two every team dose it and we haven't even tried to send down mark for a couple game's and luke wouldn't have got booed if his contract wasn't as high every on the team should get held accountable they are a disgrace and change the captain if they want to change something other than the gm we all know what keefe is capable of and they seem like they are done and no one what's to leave saying we can win not like how we been playing

32. Fitzgerald's radio silence doesn't inspire trust or confidence. Radio silence is unacceptable and it's disrespectful towards the fans. The lack of accountability is fracturing the organization.

34. I agree with the Quinn deal added a rift in the locker room and team. It destroyed us internally.
    Another thing on my mind, just opinion. Kovi, I believe Fitz kept Kovi knowing how injury prone this team is, and is actually waiting and planning for someone to get hurt so he can activate kovi. And if thats his plan, to wait around for an injury to start players, then he needs to go because thats a complete BS way to GM a team, counting on injuries. And now that nobody is injured, he looks like a fool.

37. The Quinn thing shouldn’t even have been looked at until after he’s a free agent as that is what divided and broke the locker room. I don’t blame Dougie this is all Fitz. Fitz need to go and the team needs a change. I wouldn’t even hate seing the brothers go for a good return.

38. I really think it just comes down to physicality. Who on our team is physical?

    Forwards I have Cotter, Noesen, Timo.

    Defense I have Dillon.

    If our core is going to lean heavily into the skill category, Fitz needs to complement that with physicality to compete with the Floridas of the league. We haven’t had that in the better part of a decade.

39. Thing is if Keefe gets fired and a new coach gets put in – that's then 3 coaches (Lindy, Keefe, new coach) under Fitzgerald, with one playoff round win. If you then combine that with the current negative cap situation (which is completely unacceptable – pure incompetence) it's just a complete mess. Fitz is 100% out of his depth, he's bad at his job, he's made bad decisions… just give it up ffs.

40. I dont understand why everybody think because Quinn Hughes not joining the Devils , the team has been gone broken. I dont think this is the problem. Why would it be? I think If I am a player and know hes not coming so be it. Its Hockey , the show must go on, it would have been nice but honestly for the room I still dont think it would be the best. A team dont rely on one 1️⃣ player , or every one has to buy in. Look at Florida, the culture the GM creates the atmosphere and Fitz I am sorry is not showing me a personality I want to play for, I feel hes leadership style must be lacking on communications or he put to much unconscious pressure, he looks to me unapproachable. Something is cancerous. Fitz needs to be replaced as well Keefe still to Jr as a coach we would need a experienced strong personality.
