He's a very capable receiver but he's not a complete tight end; His blocking is awful and he's missed so many blocks, which has led to Bijan and Tyler to lose yards. But also, this draft class is loaded with talent at the tight end position. And if we let Pitts walk, we'll most likely get a nice compensatory pick for him in 2027.

5. I would sit down with London and ask him about his contract. If he is going to push for an extension, then I tag Pitts. If he is willing to wait until next year, then sign Pitts. We have seen that when he has a good QB and isn't forgotten about (which showed when London was out) that he is a high caliber receiving threat. If we can resign him, the tag at least ensures we will get some thing in return for the loss.

38. If Kyle Pitts is willing to take less than $10m a year, or maybe right at $10m a year, seriously consider keeping him. There are far too many other positions of serious need to waste the capital on Pitts. Yes, he's a fantastic player at his peak but he has not played at that level consistently enough for me to pay him $14m+

    Matt Ryan and Ian Cunningham have me genuinely excited to see what this team can do. Im not expect true greatness year 1, but a trip to the playoffs in any fashion would sure be a nice way to kickstart it.
