Such an amazing pitcher who got to shine last season! Loved seeing his pre-pitch traditions like blowing into his hands before he got that strike.
FYI.
Uni #’s 76 & 75 haven’t ever been worn by any Jays player. When we start again on Monday at 74, there’ll be a daily post until opening day as every other number has been used by at least 1 player.
The Jays have built themselves a pretty diverse bullpen. We got our lefty specialist, our long man once he gets through arbitration, submariner/sidewinder, closer, and our back slapped flame thrower.
Holding out a faint glimmer of hope for a mad scientist and a psycho
Those post season numbers, whewf.
I love this man
Louis pitched seemingly every day at the end of the season. Also seems like a really nice guy.
Man, I can’t wait for baseball to be back. I miss having a consistent thing to do 162 times
I forgot we had Varland. What a beauty
Pure gas
What a horse.
Louis is awesome. He’s an absolute dawg but man did John Schneider ever abuse that man’s arm. The Jays were in 18 playoff games and Louis pitched in 15 of them including 4/4 against New York, 6/7 against Seattle, and 5/7 against LA.
Some are saying he’s already warming up in the bullpen
I love me some Louis. And a float tank and a foot rub sounds delightful
Is he currently warming up in the bullpen?
More seriously I adore him, I feel sorry for Twins fans, we got a real one for not much in return
Those back taps. Boy is strong as fook
Love watching this dude pitch. He absolutely has that dawg in him 😈
Anyone else think Varland has major Justin Herbert energy? He throws real hard and he gets hit before he goes in like Herbert does
Go jaysss
They say he’s still out there, even now, warming in the bullpen.
Varland was such a dawg during the playoffs. Man got called each and he always showed up!
