No rush for Stolarz to come back with Hildebeast playing unreal. Wonder if he's rushing to come back after seeing how good the two are playing right now
The only terrifying part about that is that when this team is healthy that was the team at the start that was not doing anything it's now all the new bits and pieces are the ones winning. So I'm on the fence with this one because I'm of the mindset that if it ain't broke why mess with it? I remember Alan McCauley and Roberts holding down during the playoffs while Sundin was injured. He came back and they put him in on the team got knocked out of the playoffs. They seem to lose that drive they had when the captain was out. Me personally I love the blue collar workers instead of the superstars because don't get me wrong I love Willie but if he is of the mindset that he doesn't feel like playing tonight then the whole team suffers.
Mc Mann on 4th that's 4 scoring lines awesome
U talk top 6 say top 12 great lines
Only move Berube had to make was put Maccelli on the 4th line to accommodate Nylander. Hes always got to over play his hand. Less is more Chief!
I'm okay with the lines. A pretty solid 4. Hope we don't get the pre-injury ( or whatever it was ) Stolarz. That guy can stay out.
Maybe they're trying to trade macelli
2nd line has a big hole in the middle.
OEL and Stecher solid defensive play, so far this season! Time for the Leafs to get their 3rd "WIN" in a row. 6-0-2 in their last 8 games played. GO LEAFS GO !!!!
Since nov 11th, domi 1 goal. Mcmann had 10…. bench domi, keep Calle on the 4th line. Problem solved
But McMann actually make the 4th line better too… so that’s not so bad…
Knies has 9 points in the last 8 GP but is also a -6 in his last 14 GP.
Tavares has 8 points in his last 8 GP but 0 goals in the L6, 1 in L9 and 2 in L17 as 3 in L22 GP.
What’s shocking about the move! I don’t get it. They do this every time before each game.
Since being scratched on Dec. 20 Domi has 1 goal and 6 assists in 9 GP and has posted a +/- of (0).
Since Dec. 27 Matthews has scored 7 goals and registered 11 points in 6 GP. Unfortunately, he has only managed a +2 rating during that stretch of games.
The Knies-Matthews-Domi line will need to play better in their own end for this reunion to be a success.
ur clickbaot titles are getting annoying and to point of nto retaining viewership.
Even if they left Domi on the first line (which I suspect Matthews wants), they could have moved Maccelli down to the fourth line and put McMann on the 2nd line.
Leafs have very good goalie depth and 2 of the 3 are home raised, Stoly…i would say he is going to be a bit rusty….but the last 3 weeks or so Leafs have looked stronger and played better. I think if they can keep playing as well as they have been, they will make the playofs, and then its anyones guess…..one good or bad bounce either way and its "see you next season".
No you don't move domi. He needs the most help and he messes up the bottom 6 too much
David Pagnotta: Re Rasmus Ristolainen: It sounds like if they can get a deal that is similar to what Toronto paid for Brandon Carlo…that's something they would consider; an NHL ready player, a 1st; potentially another asset
Darren Dreger: Re Maple Leafs: They're having conversations about players they might be able to add down the road up front, but the primary focus right now is on their blueline
Nick Kypreos: Three weeks ago GM Barry Trotz had everybody available with the exception of Roman Josi and I don’t think anyone has been pulled back even as the Predators have moved to within three points of a playoff spot
He is like a mad scientist and it really screwey
