– Would like to select his own general manager

– “Sources tell me that they expect John Harbaugh to either essentially walk Joe Schoen out of the building to bring in his own guy. Or if Joe Schoen were to be retained in the short term, it would look more like Elliott Wolff and Mike Vrabel, where Elliott Wolf as the de facto GM of the Patriots there prior to Vrabel’s hiring. But when Vrabel comes in, everybody knows, essentially, Wolf works for Vrabel, not the other way around. It’s Mike Vrabel’s show, he has the power, so you’re essentially neutering the GM and he’s a sidekick now.. The people that I’ve talked, that I talked to who I trust, and the people I trust believe that that would not be a match, Harbaugh & Schoen.”

i’m new to football so i’m not sure how it all works, but how would this be possible? like if john is just head coach how would he force joe sheone out?

This is constant bullshit news! Harbaugh isn't getting paid such a ridiculous deal.
These are all the same things they gave Tom Coughlin, so I don’t see any of it being a problem. John Mara made it clear he wants whatever it takes to be a winning franchise.

Wishfull thinking! Why so much hype for a coach that has had a team with much more talent than the Giants has but could not get over the hump. What makes u think he could do it less talent

The NY Giants have lost 109 games over the last 10 seasons that gives them the most loses in than span than any other team in the NFL. So they may be in an attractive location but they are a putrid organization. Now this does not mean they were the worst team since they are in the NFC east that has won the most Super Bowls than any other division. So they have to be better than good even to make the playoffs.
