  19. Hey Wardy, let me start my comment off by making you aware of my Mets Status;

    My birthday is January 8th. I was born in 1960. The NY Metropolitans came into existence in 1962. I was introduced to the Mets in 1965 while on a family outing to Flushing Meadow Park. During my 61 years of cognitive existence, I have never rooted for any other team other than my NY METS, KNICKS, NY GIANTS, RANGERS.

    I have lived in many other states and as many fools that wanted me to claim allegiance to the local sport teams, I only claim allegiance to my teams. The funny thing about this as of 8 years old, (1968) I was taught to ride the 4 train to the Bronx NY, where I learned about another team called the NY Yankees, more appropriately known as the DAMNED YANKEES. I’ve only attended Yankees games since living here in Massachusetts where I proudly root against the DAMNED YANKEES.

    All of this to say;

    I am a NY MET FAN ONLY, since birth!

    Now, for our RUDEY POO WIMPY ASS FAN BASE: for all you wish washy lame ass fans that want to get mad or down on David Sterns because you think you know better about being a President of baseball operations, why don’t you just abandon the loyal METS FAN BASE and be the true DAMNED YANKEES fans that you are while under the covers?

    Cohen and Sterns are working on building a dynasty for METS FANS not just a one or two year winning streak.

    If you can’t TRUST & BELIEVE in their goals for OUR METROPOLITANS, then take off the ORANGE & BLUE and don your true blue and white. For true METS FANS, let’s trust & believe in

    COHEN & STERNS!

  20. Mets youth movement has to play out. Why the hell would you have a great farm system and not see what you have. Mets fans need to get a grip. Mets haven't won anything. Let the young guns play at least they'll have fire to play

  26. Leave Baty freaking alone he's hitting 30+ Hrs this year with excellent defense at 3B plus pretty solid at 2B for Pete's sake can we see what our young players can do instead of having to always try to get other players from other teams.
