  12. Red Sox can trade for Xander or maybe ask Casas to play 3rd like they asked Rafael to play 1st. Just pay Bo $300 million and be done with it

  16. Hallelujah! That’s an enormous overpay by the Cubs. ($35 mil for ages 32-36??? Maybe if ‘18-‘19 weren’t total anomalies!) This Red Sox fan was terrified they were going to pull another JD Martinez and bid against themselves all winter for a player in decline. Phew!

    Now trade Duran for some pitching, and let’s go get Suarez and his 40+ bombs. That’s a much shorter/cheaper contract and it fits their roster better. We need an actual power hitter. Signing Bregman last year cost us our last one!
