  1. When do we stop looking at the lines, and assuming being on the 3rd or 4th means you're bad? For example, Brad Marchand is on the Panthers 3rd line. I think the Leafs finally have good depth and instead of looking at the different lines as "best, good, okay, bad", we could look at them as just like "these are 3 dudes that play well together". That way the 3rd and 4th line don't feel like a 'demotion'.

  2. I think the bandwagon for the leafs might have the most on off jumpers in all of sports lol.

I want to know if Drew and Steve have any wagers for Monday's game. Colorado and Toronto usually have entertaining games no matter who wins.

  3. The oldest rule in hockey is "build your team up the middle"
Nick Robertson has had to work his ass off for every second of ice time he's getting. He's been a Leaf 7 yrs and has paid his dues big time. It's great to see him finally getting rewarded for his perseverance.
The Leafs seem to get better as they get healthier , imagine that.

  4. Loved the win! What makes me really pissed is they’re talking about Stolarz being β€œready” for coming back next week. Why would you even THINK about screwing up the goalie tandem you have now??? Senators need a goalie. New Jersey needs a goalie. Trade Stolarz for a D or forward or both but don’t fix what’s not broken. Keep Beast and Woll as your two top goalies for the remainder of the season!

  5. I am happy about the win it seemed to be spread out as far as goals except Mathews and Nighs. Hopefully the puck will go their way the next game.

  6. Maccelli's upturn in form has been something to watch. Before the Savard firing, he was on pace for a 34 point season. After the Savard firing, he's on pace for a 63 point season.

  7. Roy played up and down the Golden Knights lines and played with some top-tier talent, and he was always up to the challenge it sucked losing him, but I knew he would do well in Toronto

  8. Laughton appears to be the glue helping the guys to gel into a team. If they go off and make the playoffs and have a few games to play still, I would think they should sit him to make sure he doesn't get injured. Although, injuries can happen anytime, anywhere. He could get injured getting up from his seat in the stands… He's now my favourite player! Sign him to a 5 year contract please!!!! Yesterday!!!!

  9. I need to apologize to Lalonde. We all thought the team Defense being bad was partially his fault as he was the last change in the coaching staff, but let's just say he wasn't.

PK has not been this good even with Marner, and that's a statement, as people tried putting our poor defensive metrics into the back of one player. The team seems to be playing way better AS a team, and the PK has been a very solid part of our game, and that is all Lalonde.

That being said, I'm just happy the whole team is performing well now, and hopefully this momentum brings us to a Playoff spot. I think the team is playing more of a Playoff-style game now, and that is great to witness.

  10. As a Canucks fan, I'm saddened that a team which looked like it was on the rise 2 seasons ago has turned into such a mess, sitting at the bottom of the NHL standings. Shows you how fast things can turn into a pile of doggy doo. Jets can also attest to this.

  11. The Leafs are finally 4 lines deep. They got goaltending and theyre playing together as a unit and theyre throwing hits. This last half is gonna be a blast
