Most Wisconsin fans shrugged about Ben Johnson’s FTP speech and cheese grater hats worn by Bears players, unlike Chicago fans who had an absolute meltdown over the Brewers flying the L flag

  1. Exactly, the minute we act a little like them, they don’t like it. I live in Chicago and it is both the dumbest and softest fanbase on the planet. Still, I hate to think that this Packers’ season is somehow karmic for us acting like them just for a second.

Unfortunately, the Cubs have endless money and can sign a guy like Bregman to a $150M deal. Sadly, I think the Cubs win the Central next year.

  2. I’m sorry, have you been to the Packers sub? Because they’re in full meltdown mode.

I love the rivalry, it’s literally the best in all sports for both baseball and football.

Edit: If you get a chance, go over to r/NFCNorthMemeWar. It’s absolutely hilarious and shows you what I’m talking about: First half of the game last night Packers fans were talking smack with some truly hilarious stuff, then everybody got quiet, then the Bears smack talkers were out in force. . . whether you are a Packers fan or a Bears fan, we have an embarrassment of riches with our smack-talkers and rivalries. . .nothing like it in all of sports.

  3. Anyone crying about the L flag or the cheese grater hats is soft. They’re the things that make rivalries fun. Have fun when you win and wear it on the chin when you don’t.

  4. I am not bothered at all by the cheese graters. Much more disturbed by our coach who cannot find it in him to close games. Same old same old.

  5. Well at least we’re 50% on our rivalry playoff games this year. Yes it’s cope, obviously, but in this moment I just remember we beat the Cubs and feel just a little bit better. Andrew Vaughn is my hero.

  6. personally didnt like the brewers L or the ben johnson stuff. make your victories about your teams success not your opponents failure.
