And then they said we're not trading them. He's a good player, we're keeping him.     Here's who warriors can move from the bench without too bad of a downside: buddy, kuminga, podz, moody, richard, spencer, and maybe TJD.

    They need to keep Post, Melton, and Santos, which means if im another team that's exactly who i ask for. So if im brooklyn and im giving up MPJ then im gonna want young talent like kuminga, post, melton, and santos. Then warriors are stuck with too many guards on the team and you lose 3 good defenders. Melton is a POA, santos is so underrated on def it's insane, and Post has moved to top 10 def rating for a big this year. Warriors lose all that def and each one of those guys can shoot threes btw, and they get MPJ whose scoring avg will most likely drop to 12 or 18 pts since he'll be a third option instead of a first option. Also, MPJ doesn't play defense, which seems like a problem. He obviously is valuable but what you have to give up to get him seems like it wouldn't tip the scales for the warriors that much. Do you give up some of your best role players for the best scorer on brookln? I dunno….
