  1. what a draft by the blues carboneauu and then the Swedish goalie and the young Russian ,fantastic draft..as for the rest, stand pat,and miss the playoffs, and spin your wheels or trade and roll the dice on a great draft..

  2. Please sell I want ivar stenberg. It may have to be the number 1 to get him cause he is rising. Would love to have a young brother duo like the sedins.

  3. Faulk's 6th year as a Blue, and finally playing to the level we thought we were getting. 1 out of 6…trade him now while he has max value and before he goes back down to the level he has played the previous 5 years here…

  4. prospects look great. Love and jiricek had a great tourny. Young russians looking like steals. Carbo i don't need to get into how great he looks, but canada probably would've beaten checzia with him on the wing. They were lacking high end scorers. We absolutely need to trade faulk now while his value is at its highest. I just don't know about vegas because they have nothing I would realistically want from a talent perspective outside of maybe connelly (just don't know if the blues want to deal with the potential character concerns). Probably better fits as far as prospects at RD and C are concerned for Faulk than Vegas.

  5. faulk was abysmal last year, maybe he was hurt? Not sure. Either way I would like us to sell high. Even if we make the playoffs, big if, we won't do shit in it.

  6. His trade stock is never going to be HIGHER than this year! Could see getting a 1st round pick and a decent prospect from a contender. Vegas's Prospect pool is one of the worst in the league, only decent prospect they have is Trevor Connelly who is a real boom or bust prospect. If Faulk is traded… do you call up Theo Lindstein and give him the experience?

  7. Cannot wait to see Carbs on the Big Club and as far as Faulk goes, his ceiling has never been higher for a really good return…..he is 33 yrs old w/term. I say go for it Army!

  8. Why wait on Carbonneau? Bring him up this year. Give him more than a cuppa. If he's really a prodigy, there's no reason not to find out while we're doing a rebuild. Would be exciting.

  9. Most goals by a blues player so far this year. Go ahead trade the player with the most goals , with higher priced score goalies doing badly thus year. Blues are still the same bad team. Our defense is not the greatest but take The defenseman that is playing his position and also scoring. And you can’t keep replacing coaches when it’s obvious it’s the players.

  10. The only way to upgrade experienced players is to be buyer's at the deadline. I enjoy following the prospects but I really enjoy watching competitive Blues hockey. A great second half, happy now, a bad second half, maybe happy later.

  11. The only way it would make sense to trade Faulk is if they can get multiple draft picks in the first round. A lot of the contenders this season have already traded their first round picks away. Plus, tanking doesn't guarantee a top pick because of the lottery system. The asking price we need to set might be a bit too much. I'd hate to see decent players traded for mediocre returns. We've seen way too much of that in Blues history.

  12. The Blues got rid of their top line scores, like Tarasenko, Perron, O'Reilly, and expect the helpers to take over that role. You have third line players now trying to play 1st and 2nd lines, and it's not working. I love the young players coming up, but they need advice from stars that we let go. Montgomery is a good coach, and I have faith in him. Kyrou, Faulk, and Binnington need to stay with the team if we have any chance of winning the cup in the next couple of years.

  13. Carbonneau should have stayed. What has he learned going back? What was the benefit? Just like Thomas he has reached the top should be taking shifts with the other young emerging players here in the nhl.
