  1. Houston people are weird. Fault is fault. Does not matter who made it. Right? But Houston fans react different for who made the mistake. 1/10 3pt for Jabari. I cant imagine the reaction if Alpi shot that bad.

Udoka is another story. He has no game plan. Only shouting go go go. He has no "if" in his mind. He cant read the game. Reporter asking "why cant u shoot?" He answers "Our defens was bad." LoL

  2. If anyone is blaming kd you definitely do not watch any games, and just wanna say lazy overused media narratives. Hes been the only bright spot on the team .. and the fact that when he hits clutch shots and win yall are quiet

  3. I have been saying the same stuff way back since last year even when the Rockets were winning:
    – there is absolutely no off ball movement. no drawn sets or options given to the guys on the floor. Sengun or KD. One of them gets in isolation and everyone else is standing and watching. Only when Alp creates something Amen is cutting to the basket. Tari also used to cut but he has fallen in love with the corner three now. Everyone was blaming Alp for the late turnover in the Kings game. That turnover was not on Alp because nobody is moving when Alp is getting double or triple teamed. I would argue most of the turnovers Alp commits is because of lack of movement.
    – When Alp has the ball in the post or elbow, there needs to be off ball screening actions
    – If the opponent has good bigs that balances the Rockets rebounding, Rockets become a mediocre team on offense
    – If the opponent has tough perimeter defenders, Rockets turn the ball over
    – Amen needs to bring the ball and give it up to Alp
    – Jabari is being underutilized. When he is on the floor with Alp and KD he gets mismatches all the time. There are idiots out there who want Jabari to stop taking midranger. He should keep taking those shots. Jabari is an important part of this team and he WILL bounce back.
    – There are also some idiots who think Reed should start. I can easily say that those are the real idiots. Reed will break against ball pressure. Even against weaker defenders he cuts his dribble early. He is a great slasher who can pass to the wings off a pick, take midranger and move really well without the ball. He is not ready for a major playmaking role.
    – The only guy I am willing to trade is Tari purely because he is officially injury prone, thinks too highly of himself to reject 100M and frankly is a low IQ guy.
    – Everything aside tough the first thing this team needs is an offensive coordinator. A vet who can teach guys where to be, how to move and draw some plays.

  4. Jackson, I agree with you 100%. I don’t know if they do or not, but really, the coaching staff really needs to listen to your takes on the games. You make a lot of sense. Do you know if they do or not? If they don’t, they certainly should. I’m serious. I also agree with you on Tari. This guy has become injury prone and we are not able to use his services throughout the season. This is becoming a problem for the rockets. Jabari Smith Jr seems to me have a confidence problem. He shouldn’t but he has. I really wish we had sent him to Phoenix and kept Dillon Brooks. I feel this team lost its identity when we traded Dillon to Phoenix. We’ve lost our offensive edge as well. I just hope nothing happens to KD and he stays injury free, otherwise we will be in trouble. I really enjoy your program and your analysis of the games. You really do a good job.

  5. Damn, Houston has some fair-weather fans. Bari is going to be fine, he had a bad game. He plays good defense, he rebounds and he is usually pretty good with the jumper. If we need to blame anyone, it should be Ime, he has to adjust as a coach. If he sees a player struggling, yank him and put someone like Davidson in there. It's going to be okay, we were getting good looks. Alpie is the key to this team, hopefully folks will see that now.

  6. 1st I have to keep bringing up how u wanted Jabari over Banchero, u was fighting daily why he was a better pick when all the fans wanted the opposite, and we need a point guard

  7. I truly can’t say Rockets are a better team so far without Dillon, Jalen, and Cam. Let’s hope it turns out for the better! What happens if they lose to the Kings tonight?

  8. KD maybe a great athletic perfect shooter, but he is not a leader. A leader talks and leads his team. KD all care about stats. I think he is the only NBA player reading box score in the middle of a game.

  9. Reed wasn't near efficient, amen was typically inconsistent, Adams wasn't transcendent and missed FTs, DFS was rimming out shots all night. Seriously it ain't just Bari.

  10. With the talent this team has, the coach has to get a big ol chunk of blame at this point. The offense looks as horrible as it did under Silas and has remained that way year after year.
