    Regardless a top three is still amazing in this draft.

    Dont mean to come off like an ass there but my Wings rebuild draft luck has me jaded around actual lotto wins.

  5. It’s interesting, with this year’s draft possibly being a 3 horse race instead of a clear cut #1, it makes you wonder if you fully stick to the best available player strategy or also incorporate who actually really wants to play for your team.

    With how many players bailed on us in the past few years and Conroy’s philosophy that he wants to add players that really want to be in Calgary, it’ll be interesting to see how the draft plays out.

  10. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Mckenna during the juniors but he had legit chemistry with Parekh so hope this happens. Also love the fact he grew up a Flames fan!

  14. Is it too much to dream for us to:

    1. Trade Andersson to Utah for Tij and whatever else makes it work
    2. Trade Coleman to Dallas for Bischel and whatever else makes it work
    3. Drop in the standings and draft McKenna – a potential star who loves Calgary.

    My last 3 years of depression would be wiped away instantly. A man can and will dream.
