I saw it was offsides when the play happened. With that goal, we got the momentum back and never looked back. It might have been a very different game. The refs missed it. The coaches missed it. The Flyer's video team missed it…But, there it is. We'll take it!

You get what you get and you dont get upset.
I’ve always been of the opinion that if it’s *that* close that you need a zoomed in/slowed down replay just to see if the player was offsides by a couple inches, then it wasn’t egregious enough to give any sort of advantage
Wow what a miss. Flyers are complete ass they were going to lose anyways. We take those though.
Kuch had almost no reaction which usually indicates he thinks it’s coming back or we’re already up 6-2 and the goal meant nothing. Getting the lead back usually calls for at least a line hug lol.
I was surprised when they dropped the puck. I thought for sure Philly would challenge
Lol wtf was Philly doing?
From the frame it seems like 86 doesn’t have control of the pack. So if 93 stick his feet back before Kuch has control of the puck he would have tagged out before Tampa has control on the offensive side. There has been some goals like this. I remember one from from Colorado that looked crazy as the player is at least 1 foot inside the offensive zone.
Edit: just rewatched the goal. 93 doesn’t not tag out. He just continues to glide forward.
I noticed it too and was surprised there wasn’t a challenge.
I knew that shit was offside
This was absurdly close I think gonzo might actually have the very heels of his skates over the blue still.
Well, what about when Kuch got cross checked or tripped (I don’t recall which) right in front of the ref and no call
& lost his stick on the play
And then the ref tripped over the stick
So then, the ref strangely decided to pick up the stick and return it to Kuch on the bench
I mean, the refs can be a little weird and there was more than one missed call yesterday I’d surmise
If they had called the penalty, Kuch, or someone else, could’ve scored on the penalty play
I mean, you can play would’ve could’ve should’ve all day
But my feeling is for the most part, Kuch doesn’t appear to get the advantage on the calls by the refs
So maybe he got this one 🤷🏻♀️ this time
With all the Flyers penalties that went uncalled, this evens things out.
I cannot believe the Flyers didn’t challenge this
In my FB Group, I immediately said: ‘Kuuuuch…I hope they don’t review it for Off Sides!’ Ha! And Thank God other Teams don’t have the Vid Review Team that we Do!!!
I said off sides when I saw replay and assumed Philly was going to challenge.
I saw that as well. Was surprised Philly’s coach didn’t challenge it…
I thought it might be called back when I saw it too. Wonder why no challenge. Maybe they didn’t have this feed and it was between frames or something? Or as others said, depends which way the skate is leaning. Upper part might still be over the line somehow and you can’t be conclusive without the straight along the line feed.
Meh, we have had bad breaks and bad calls against us all season. I don’t feel bad at all.
