  1. Yzerman is NOT giving Andersson 7-8 years. Luke Schenn is a great option as a rental, and Logan Stanley or Dylan Samberg would be a trade to make for 5-6 years

  2. Glad you gents paid some homage to JVR. During the off season, when Detroit acquired him, I don't think any of us were jumping up and down with excitement. But look where we are now! Without JVR (it could be said about a number of players, for sure), the Wings are not nearly as successful as they have been. It's so cool. Detroit has NOT been tripping over themselves to sign a headline star, but the way this team is taking shape is truly awesome and exciting. I would say it's the preferred way! LGRW!!!

  3. Oh man, Brad you genius someone needs to do a Kane highlight package of him in a Red Wings jersey to Chelsea Dagger, if I could I would….please someone with talent do it and post it on YouTube and then for 500 do the "na na na na" and the Wings goal horn!

  4. The Blackhawks are his ex-wife. They had three kids together. They got a bitter divorce, the Blackhawks, well, she no longer loved him. Kicked him out of the house. The Rangers were his rebound relationship. It was never going to last. Detroit is his new wife. He's happy. Oh sure, he still has to deal with the ex. He'll still show up for the reunions for the sake of his three children, but he's remarried now.

  5. Neither Andersson or Hamilton makes the wings cup contenders if added to the team. So my logical mind says no on both for a trade. I think Todd McLellan deserves a great deal of credit for the wings success for this season so far.

  6. Kane has like 27 open net goals or so, why is it such a talking point? Nobody is saying "he's nearing 500 but so and so many were unfortunately open netters." Who cares! πŸ˜ŠπŸŽ‰πŸ˜Š
