KARL-ANTHONY TOWNS WAS BENCHED AGAINST THE BLAZERS! Mike Brown made a shocking rotation change against the Portland Trailblazers by benching Karl-Anthony Towns for Josh Hart & Mitchell Robinson. This marked the first time Brown has done something like this. On top of that, it worked! There were many factors at play here to consider but the main part was that Josh Hart returned and with him, the Knicks team we came to know and love this season. That helped NY win the game but what does it say about the Knicks that they needed to bench KAT and not have him in the game to close? Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

  2. Troy, what you know about the sweat Hawgs and Mr. Cartel as Washington called him? Sorry Troy they didn't even come close to looking like they did before Christmas. They allowed a scrub team to take them all the way into the late 4th quarter till the Knicks pulled away!!! I still see some type of issue occurring within the team. Not to mention we are 39 games into the season, and they still haven't fixed there perimeter defense

  5. Mikal got benched in the last stretch of the cup game. Where was ur video on that. Oh I know u need to further ur agenda with the KAT. Brown literally said KAT usually would play but the group out there was clicking and getting stops. Making something outta nothing. Ya need to stop with the KAT hate. Nasty work

  7. The BIGGEST problem with the Knicks is their DEFENSE still suck this season and they take TOO MANY LOW PERCENTAGE SHOTS/3 POINTERS EVERY POSITION. They need to score more in the pain and play better defense. The Knicks need GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO who can score in the pain and play defense!!!

I'm proud of Mike Brown … Teams are targeting Kat to victory against us at the end of games… We need stops at the end of games, We need ball movement at the end of games, we need pace, We need paint protection, we need help defense… just All the things that we don't have when he's on the floor

  13. I know that HC Mike Brown doesn't trust KAT's game by the end of the 4QT. This time HC Brown bench KAT and used Mitchell Robinson to finish the game with defense & rebound to win last night's game.

  14. Personally i dont think of it as a benching. It was situational basketball, much like how bridges didnt play the 4th of the cup final.

    Mitch and Clingan were battling on the glass and we needed the rim protection Deni driving like he does.

    When we are down and needed scoring kat is in. When we need rebounding and rim protection its gonna be Mitch.

Some of yall are hilarious… When Kat didn't play a few games ago and we lost everyone noticed how big of a asset he is… and now because Mike Brown made a good coaching decision to keep the defense on the floor yall say he was benched. Benched to me i thought was when you're hurting the team so coach takes you out

  18. Is KAT really the 2nd best player on the team? I would argue OG Ananoby, might be that person. Towns would be if he were a legitimate two way player. With his size and strength there’s no reason he 13:47 can’t be a better defender.

I can see where towns would be upset , he had a great game for almost 3 quarters welll maybe better game than the previous games like when he only had 6 points , but the damn offensive fouls are killing , granted he constantly gets hacked and no calls so I know hy he’s frustrated sometimes but he did play better last night !

  35. People who actually know basketball and aren't just "fans" (you know the type – score points, they love you; score low and they trash you) know that Josh Hart is invaluable to this team. As far as KAT is concerned, he's inarguably a great player, but imo he is overrated.

    KAT shoulda been benched, about time Mike Clown actually "adapt". Agreed ride the wave, it doesn't make sense to change what's working. Make sure it's done with OG & Mikal, there are two inconsistent & disappear a lot. I got no problem with it.
