HC is an executive position that manages all aspects of the game, and he’d be a good one. Unfortunately, HC has turned into a carrot to lure the best OC or DC into a position, hoping they bring that success with them. Mike McDaniel would be a great OC for us under Harbaugh, but… see sentence two.
Hot take, id prefer mcdaniel. I think ulbrich has the D covered, a mcdaniel+ulbrich combo with an OC good at developing QBs would be my preference.
Mcdaniel also elite at scheming his best players (achane, hill)

Honestly I’d be good with this, but I think I would prefer McDaniel or Kubiak. We are an offense-heavy roster, that hasn’t had someone to really unleash all these weapons at once before. I think we need an offensive-minded HC (that isn’t an Arthur Smith type) to finally get that.

Harbaugh wants 20 million plus 10 million for his coaching staff. Also wants full control of all roster and draft. Might be a hard sell.
Kubiak could be the GOAT of all we know, he could also be a bust. Harbaugh is the most proven commodity out there. I think that’s what this organization needs right now. He’ll want it done his way, which may upset some presumptive plans, but I am open to the guy who has won and who comes from one of the best organizations in football.
I’m not gonna lie the more I think about harbaugh the more I kind of don’t want him.
Let me explain:
On the Ravens, Harbaugh himself was not the issue. It predominantly originated with Todd Monken, and the way he did not utilize Derrick Henry and for the entirety of Lamar’s career he did not play to his strength.
But it matters because in a way, him refusing to fire monken was not all that different about Raheem refusing to address the shortcomings or fire Zac Robinson. Also he wants to bring his own staff, and I honestly really don’t want Monken on the falcons. I think he’s gonna be questionable and we’re going to continue being in offense purgatory where we just can’t figure it out.
Lastly, he’s another CEO coach. He has a track record of success but in the league which has changed a lot from times that the ravens were dominant, I feel like he doesn’t fit the modern offense fist teams that are having the most success in the league rn, and the falcons would be much better with a high ceiling modern offense candidate like Kubiak or Mike McDaniel.
We also loose Ulbrich in the process of getting Harbaugh.
So like sure, let’s interview him, but there’s better options out there IMHO

Why are people forgetting that if we hire Harbaugh, he’s also gonna hire an Experienced Play caller at OC? Kubiak would be nice , but I’d prefer a coach with a track record of winning, and someone who is capable of hiring an OC who can give us a winning scheme.
Won’t complain if he signs but I personally would rather go younger and offensive. This isn’t a bill situation, but I’m skeptical

Man this sub is split on him. Personally, I don’t think qe can be picky. Everyone wants Raheem gone, and he’s gone. We would have taken anyone. Now we have the chance to get one of the winningest coaches in the NFL and 50% of the sub is like “I guess he will do in a pinch..” 😂
One of the best coaches ever. Let’s not doubt it and accept something good can happen to us lol
If i was Harbough I would either go to Falcons or Giants. Despite the Falcons not making the playoffs. DL and BR are amazing players and you got a young QB in MP. The only thing I’m concerned about his KC contract. But I see this as a slightly bettwr situation that Denver was in when they had Wilson and SP turned that team around.

Can we find someone that isn’t one of the same 50 guys that are HC,DC or OC for every team every year? We need someone new!!! We dont need the next Frank Reich!!! The carousel 🎠 is getting old.
