  1. Rob has gotta do something or else this is just empty calories. Guy is gonna average 50 a game for another 3 summers with 3 picks, before we make serious moves to build around him.

  2. Generational is not a tag thrown around lightly. While never gonna be a great defender (though he is not the wordt defender in the league by a good margin) Luka’s playmaking matches his own scoring ability 

    This is why I get fed up with the talking heads in the media going on about his defensive liabilities. Like no shit sherlock. But the solution is not to turn him into an all-star defender (impossible).

    Some people go on about how he’ll never win a championship with his ‘playstyle’ – high scoring, high assists for teammates who can take advantage of that 

    I’m not one to bash players on the team, but its high time that the talk turned to their contributions and failures (in the media, this sub doss talk about that). They’re all getting paid millions to play ball, if they can’t mesh with Luka then trades need to happen (as much as I like the esrly season chemistry we had)

  3. Next year, roster construction, has to be based on his abilities. Defense and 3 pointers.

  7. Last two games are reminding me of Dallas before Luka got any help. Luka with many points and another player with 20pts(in this case Lebron) and then nothing from others. Its like here we go all over again.

    I know he hasn’t been here for a lotnof time, but Pelinka’s passiveness providing any kind of help bothers me.

    Dude has to do too much just to avoid losing by 30 pts.

  15. Luka was 14 when I first saw him playing with real madrid youth squad. His IQ and basketball understanding was already something incredible.

    His playstyle is european. He is not really a scorer, but a playmaker. He scores and takes a lot of shoots because this is what the NBA wants from theirs stars.
