[Dalton Johnson] “The Warriors have not made an offer for Michael Porter Jr. They’ve been hesitant on him, from what I’ve heard, and remains cautious with their future draft picks.”

  1. The constant back and forth over the past few days—one day a report indicating warriors lack of interest in a deal the next indicating interest—suggests to me that there’s definitely something going on. All these back and forth leaks don’t happen when there’s nothing going on. LOL.

  2. if you add MPJ or JJJ and keep him, the current team will be very competitive. I can see Steph playing one or two more years after his current contract.

  3. I wonder what is the feeling of being the brightest student in a worst school in the district?

  4. Oh for fucks sake.

Trade for the 40% 3 point shooter with size for fucking once

I don’t want more moodys Podz and wiseman’s and Kumingas

  5. Steph should ask for a trade.

If the organisation doesn’t want to maximize his window and want some foundation for their future after Steph retires (which is obviously understandable and pragmatic) then Steph should also approach the situation keeping his best interest in mind and go to a team with which he can win another ring.

  6. crazy just trade Steph please. I want to watch the guy compete in a team that has a chance

  7. The price is young studs (which we don’t have) and or 2 frps(FOs hesitant)

    Lacobs sweating…

  8. They want to sell tickets and keep investors happy by keeping Steph but also want to draft another star player with a top pick as soon as Steph retires to keep the team value high. They simply don’t want a gap year or two with no return.

  9. Not completely unbelievable, the reports that released about the Warriors considering on trading their post Steph picks came out around the same time the reports on Trey Murphy trade rumors were going as well.

So if that’s anything to go by, I think it’s obvious the FO would only be willing to shed out multiple picks for someone younger and on a longer contract as opposed to a 2 yr rental in MPJ.

  10. So lacob could draft his next Wiseman, Moody and JK… i mean he is the owner it is his money logic

  11. Ah yes keep all our draft capital so we can draft more busts and future EuroLeague players

  12. Can we stop being hesitant cause of first round picks? Wr have a better chance drafting a Jokic in the second round than a Lebron in the first

  13. This management is so cautious it sickens me they are waiting for like 5 years for a good significant trade

  14. This “reporter” continues with his hot takes. LOL always just regurgitating what’s been out there.

  15. The Warriors from top down as an organization do not exist to win basketball games anymore. Its a PR company. Kerr’s not trying to win, Draymond is a clear net negative on the court and Curry stopped playing off ball defense. The entire organizatin exists to keep Kerr and Draymond’s drinks topped off and pillows fluffed. Curry is legacy stat padding and no one else on the team matters other than He and Draymond.

The worst part is they believe their own PR bullshit.

  16. Said it in another post… if he were 6’2” they’d be all about getting him. Size doesn’t fit the Warriors system. We will miss the playoffs entirely but we can look forward to 4 guards and Draymond at C for the rest of the season

  17. I will not be surprised if we end up not trading JK if it requires too many picks.

You guys underestimate the ignorance and stupidity of Joe Lacob.

  18. Oh fuck off.

Yeah let’s draft another Kuminga and Wiseman AFTER STEPH RETIRES.

Cuz going all in for your generational guy is NOT worth it huh?

Greatest player of your generation and y’all wanna be scared cuz you think you’re gonna get the next Wemby in 2 years. Geezus Christ

  19. I don’t think the draft capital is because the Warriors want to use them. They want to make a bigger move in the future and they won’t have great players available, so they need high value draft picks.

They’d never trade Steph. Jimmy and Dray in 1-2 years have no value. Their young players have mostly not shown high upside. To restock in 1-2 years with a proven star they need the draft picks. So they are weighing if using them now, when in 2 years MPJ will demand a max salary, is worth it.
