He just got waived the Wizards could definitely scoop him up. We’re rebuilding, we need young athletic wings, and he’d basically cost nothing perfect low-risk pickup. Flowers is still young, still has upside, and guys like that bounce around the league all the time until they find the right spot. Washington actually gives minutes to young players, so it makes sense for both sides: he gets a real chance to prove himself, and the Wizards get a cheap upside swing thoughts ?

We do currently have a roster spot available. Although I’m sure something else will happen before the trade deadline so who knows how many spots we’ll have free soon.
I think if we end up with a roster spot I would like to convert Vuk to a contract and pick up a guy like Flowers on the 2-way. Whether Flowers is the guy idk, he has a cool name tho
Maybe… But also maybe not.
I don’t think we need another project. I feel this way anytime a previously hyped prospect is brought up.
1. They didn’t work out for another team why would they for us?
2. We already have project youth that need minutes
3. Our other reclamation projects (Whitmore, Branham) are working out poorly
