at least for this season it’s basically baked in because if they sold any of those seats for any nights they have to accept the ticket or pay the customer back. given how much they’re losing by leaving a huge section of the arena unseated i doubt they’ll continue this experiment next season.
at the same time ted is a shithead who is so disconnected from the fanbase he thought moving to the team to Virginia would go over well

I just came back from Vegas there were no empty sections like that. a few smattering of empty seats but not by the ice…
What is the context of these seats and being empty?

There was maybe 20ish people total. And 90% didnt have caps gear on.
Had a good view from our seats in 411. Tonight was honestly the most packed it looked – its been our 4th game in those seats. Such a joke.

Can someone fill me in? I’ve seen these posts but never really read into what’s going on. Aren’t there a lot of season ticket holders in these sections? I know Elliott from EITM has a couple seats there.
There were actually about two dozen people in it toward the end of the game. Most I’ve seen. Not a single jersey on, though.
