Mark my words, another 1k yard season is coming in 2026-2027

  1. He clearly got hurt early in the season and that caused mental problems. If he can heal up fully then he should get back to a 1k season.

  2. Does everyone thinks he is going to stay? My group of friends all have a different opinion. I said to keep him unless you’re going to highway rob someone for him.

  3. hard disagree, this guy doesn’t want to be here if you watched his effort and body language it was obvious. Not exactly the best time to sell-high on him but i know there’s teams that would give up picks based on the potential that’s already been witnessed. I’ll take players that are hungry like P dub over these diva players that play at 80% effort

  4. I wonder if he became good friends with Gabe Davis or christan kirk and saw one of them as a mentor, then when they got traded it was like that kick ass job after a few employees leave and it’s just not the same. Then they hire a new guy midway through the season who is an instantly clicks, then Parker emerging. It’s funny, but what if his sophomore slum is just him missing his buddies and that’s the league acclimation they really don’t prepare you for.

  5. I don’t see it. For whatever reason, BTJ and Trevor lack chemistry. That coupled with the rise of Washington and Meyers and BTJs inability to go across the middle (which will not improve), aren’t going to get him to 1000 yards

  6. I think they should work on incorporating him as much as they can but Parker should get his chance to be WR1 next year.

  7. Keep em. We have other potential trades we can make to get some draft picks. Focus should be replacing Wlaker Little and getting some interior DL help.

  8. Whatever works. Trevor is good at spreading the ball around and not trying to force it to a few players who want their stats.

  9. With the emergence of Washington and Meyers’ chemistry with Lawrence I am less concerned about BTJ and how he develops.

He was a non-factor in most games this year short of 3 or 4, but even down the stretch despite making a couple key catches he was far from TLaw’s best option on regular snaps.

If he can turn it around and be as dynamic as he was in his rookie year than we will be blessed with an abundance of quality catchers but right now I’m not too concerned either way.

With all that said, I obviously hope he finds whatever he lost and gets back into form.

  10. Lets not forget how good this guy is . Yes he had a sophomore slump … but the talent is there .

  11. injury and sophomore slump, and would have had 850yds if he played 17. The future is bright

  12. He needs another offseason to work on catching and over the middle stuff… He’ll be back to his normal self next year

  13. I hope so but lot’s of hands going to be be catching balls next year. Love BTJ I hope he can get right but seems mental to me at this point.

  14. He started looking a lot better in the 2nd half of these season. Think he was playing hurt for awhile

  15. Anyone saying to trade BTJ should go find a new favorite team. Still a steal on his rookie deal.

  16. Yes, from a Jaguar receiver we will get another 1000 yard season, but not guaranteed it is BT. Don’t get me wrong I would love he went for 1400 yards and 10+ TDs. That said, he is inconsistent and double clutched just about everything this year.

I appreciate that he is not a diva or problem in the locker room, so in that sense it would be stupid to move him this offseason. I don’t think you would get his upside for what it would cost financially to get someone else. I think, depending on how next season plays out it will determine if they exercise the 5th year option on him. If it’s like this year again, probably not, but if he reverts back to 24, form then yeah.

Side note and happy he is not here, but if Trent Blacklist was still the GM BTJ would have been locked up on a “great deal” half way through this season… “We think he has tremendous upside” raspy voice echoes in the distance.

    Go Jags!
