Eric is emotional lol
Great points. I don’t think we will make a trade with him involved. I also think JB is still solidifying lineups. We can’t play 12-13 players each game all year.
I wish people would leave ivey alone. He hasnt even had regular minutes at the 2 spot next to cade
Eric is 100% right about some Ivey critics. According to them Ivey was ballin last year but it doesn't count because it was a small 30 game sample. They then say because he not playing like last year they should bench, trade based on like a 20 game sample this year. Some won't acknowledge that he has improved in multiple areas each year. When his haters make those comments it says a lot more about them than it does about Ivey.
the problem is no one was paying attention to the first 30 games last year smh…add that to the fact that most people arent doctors and cant fathom what getting your leg snapped as a professional athlete means in the grand scheme of things…he got hurt 1.1.25, watch how many years that unfortunate situation benefits us as fans…JI till the wheels fall off
It's not unreasonable for Ivey to take a season or two to get back physically. He will continue to get more skill, learn some new tricks.
I've been rooting for Ivey. I feel bad for him. As Eric points out, each year there is SOMETHING that sets him back.
This year he's the victim of the team's success, which has altered the dynamics for his window of development.
Ivey is still a top 5 pick and young who needs a bigger role, fact of matter is fit if Ivey can’t become a real respectable shooter soon they need to trade him, while he’s still seen as a young player, not to mention we have multiple young players who also has to get paid
Piston have already shown they can win without him, and be competitive
I love Ivey and believe that he can still be a really good player in the league. I just feel like we learned how to win without him and that if we can utilize him in a trade package for a stretch 4 then we have to do it.
Eric spittin facts
Your absolutely right about giving this young man some grace. He needs time. Great video.
Someone clip Eric’s bit and send it to Ku Valenti
Glazing
Ivey $22-25 Million extension
Levert deserves it

Ivey hasn’t fully regained his game shape and body yet….. relax
Ivey critics fall into two categories. Those who didn't want to draft him. Those who were told ge would be even better this year than last because a broken leg is no big deal.
