Notice how it says "(21+)".
I am going to this game, and I would like to get these cards. I am 23, so I do qualify on that account, but how are they verifying that? Is this the first time they've had an age-restricted giveaway or do we know how they actually logistically do a giveaway like this?
I imagine checking IDs for a giveaway would be a logistical nightmare considering how crowded it gets and how 'grabby' I've seen people get for the promotional items.

It’s because all the face cards are pictures from the Phil Kessel nude photoshoot
They can probably manage an id check for the first 7500 without slowing things too much
21 and up huh? I find that strange, stupid and unnecessary. I highly doubt they will be checking identification for playing cards. Or they may ask you to chug a beer to receive the item. Although this is purely speculation at this point.
It’s because the sponsor has legal requirements to limit advertising to 21+. I would expect there to be some sort of enticement in the pack of cards for people to gamble through BetRivers.

Ugh I want these so bad! They look so cool
As someone who has worked in sports for a long time (not the Penguins) and have done giveaways like this before they almost certainly won’t check ID. The 21+ is a cya since it’s a gambling sponsor. Anyone who passes for an adult should be good.
