sooo weird
Kerr is so tired of this. And I’m sure jk is
Jesus Christ leave this man alone holy fuck I see JK’s name more than any other NBA player in all nba subreddits
If jk turns out to be nothing I will remember how big of a deal we all made out of this and it’s gonna be crazy through retrospective lenses
It was more of a non-answer. As for being honest, it’s not false but neither is it revealing in any way.
Hope this chapter closes tomorrow and a trade is announced.
To have this stretch out to February 5th would be brutal.

I wanna see what exactly happened in the locker room when someone publishes a book
Maaaaaan, why are you talking about it? Just trade him
Tomorrow he is trade eligible. And then it’s just 3 weeks until the trade deadline. I think it’s safe to say that adding a 30 or 40 mil player to the lineup would increase our win percentage.
Why doesn’t 95.7 ask Kerr some actual insightful analytical questions instead of the same rehashed jk drama question over and over. Oh right, because they’re not actually a competent radio talk show.
I guess the weird thing is whether JK was really SO bad that he was unplayable in any bench lineup for the Dubs? According to most reporting a handshake deal hasn’t even been made yet. If that’s true then it’s really strange to me that JK cant even get 10 minutes of play time since October.
Seems like someone finally told him to shut the hell up.
feel so bad for JK. he’s a good dude and a great player. he doesn’t deserve this. i just don’t see why he can’t at least play.

> I try to protect everybody organizationally
Dude is fed up. Pretty clear the FO should have made the move a while ago, but I guess they eventually started viewing him as large salary filler? Makes sense, just gotta actually turn him into something nice this deadline. Outside that and the Lacob “future face of the franchise” fever dream, I don’t see any other reason to have kept him this long. Maybe he flashes in practice, and I guess trying to see if they could figure out the fit was worth the gamble cause they do need the athleticism and scoring, but man, it’s been rough.
Sucks for JK too, dude just wants the freedom to go and play. He’s had 4+ years to try and earn that here, but he’s also been on an incredibly short leash. Injuries have come at pretty awful times too, and I mean, he is behind two better PFs on the depth chart. Fuck his agent though, maybe he helps get JK to the team he wants to play for, but he’s done nothing but make shit messy
Kuminga has to hold some kind of record for most media coverage relative to how good the player is
I hope this gets done tomorrow and the new toys are in the rotation Saturday when I’m in the building.
You would think REDACTED is Stephen Curry the way they always talk about him lol. 2 more hours and this is all over hopefully🤞🏻
I don’t think there is a great mystery. It became obvious he was on his way out last year. The summer it became even more obvious. The contract was structured to make him a trade asset.
Kuminga didn’t want to be here. And you can kind of see he point, if you squint. From his perspective he doesn’t get the opportunity and leash that others get. From another perspective… dude you never fucking improved.
People talk about defense and rebounding. I don’t give a crap about rebounding. We didn’t draft him number 7 to rebound. He didn’t learn how to shoot. Period. Nobody cares how many rebounds Jaylen Brown gets. You learn how to shoot and you get all the money and fame and respect in the world. He didn’t. And that’s the end of that.
Very stupid clown question. So obvious why he’s not going in last game. Like they’d really risk him getting injured now.
So when there’s a lot of injury and lack of players, kerr was forced to play kuminga and he played well during those guaranteed minutes. When the team is healthy and kuminga can play only garbage minutes, he can’t produce and it cuts into his potential value. So instead of playing him garbage minutes, they’re just choosing not to play him at all.
This better not mean they will not trade him and sit him the rest of the season
Can he be traded the 15th ET or does it have to be PT? That’s either 1 hour from now or 4 hours from now.
Every comment is soo toxic on here. Are people really that ignorant. It’s business and this is the best rout to get the most value for this player in this situation with the current CBA.
Let it play out we are almost there….
Sheesh.
Its interesting that no one can see why kuminga didnt work here and likely wont elsewhere. He is undersized power forward; has no real wing skills ( handling/shooting) essentially his archetype is a less skilled Giannis but 4 inches shorter and alot weaker. He cannot win his matchup bc he relies on brute force and he is the smaller player in his matchup most of the time. If Jk was 3 inches taller; he would suddenly be a much better player because now he can finish over the contest
