RedSox rotation 2026

  1. Meh

It’s Crochet and then a bunch of SP3/4s

It’s like the Pats WR rooms except no studs. All WR3s, with Diggs being the lone bright spot

  2. So Tolle and Early are untouchable in trade talks but also arent even in consideration to start the year in the rotation? LMAO

  3. Pretty wild that there are only two returning starters in the rotation. Breslow really retooled

  4. I also like the move because it takes pressure off of Gray now. He doesn’t even have to be the #3 guy.

  5. its awesome having 2 aces in the rotation.

now just add a couple of bats to help roman anthony

  6. That is a deep and excellent rotation. We need to focus on infield defense at 2B. Donovan?

  7. The #5 spot is very much going to be a battle in Spring Training. I think the Woo Sox are going to have a great rotation until we get some injuries.

  8. I mean, that’s Dodgers-level stuff. Gotta think that there’s a move coming to ship Tolle or Early out for a RH bat, but I am just loving that graphic

  9. Love it. Seriously, I loved Suarez, I never thought it was a possibility for us though. This lets Tolle & Early keep developing, and if anyone gets hurt in the rotation, you can plug them in.

  10. First of all, I LOVE THIS ROTATION.

Now, the lineup on the other hand…. needs work. Right now the Red Sox are like 4M shy of the second tax bracket, I think is the highest we have ever been (lol, not my money but Henry is cheap). So this suggest another trade might be coming our way, just please be a MLB bat.

Ketel is out, according to the Dbacks. Revisit?

Paredes? As a mexican, I love it, but his defense is meh.

    Donovan? Please not another lefty.

Just make me smile Breslow, a Bichette might do it.

  11. I could see the Red Sox making a big move at the trade deadline this year once they’re sitting at 3rd place in the AL East

  12. Why are people penciling in Oviedo? He’s pitched 100 innings once in his career and has a 4.61 FIP and 1.38 WHIP. He’s just as likely to be absolutely nothing of value

  13. I used to wonder where we will ever get pitching since it was unlikely we would ever pay the going rate but Breslow has shut me up, with the exception of Gray we have young pitchers. The last time we had such a bevy of young pitching I think was the mid 80s but correct me if I’m wrong. Given the staff Breslow had assembled I might need to reevaluate him.

  14. Wonder what they do with Sandoval. He’s just forgotten about. No options left and we already paid for him.

  15. Go get the other Suarez to platoon 3B/DH and get ready for spring training! ⚾️

  16. I think the world of Early and Tolle but people who are mad or surprised that the Red Sox weren’t planning for either to be in the rotation to start the year really don’t realize two things.

    1) Roster construction – Why DFA all your out of option guys out of camp and lose your pitching depth

    2) Just how rushed Early and Tolle were to the majors. They were both pushed to the majors out of necessity more than merit. Now, don’t get me wrong, I really like them both and they both delivered big time. But it took inuries to Houck, Crawford, Dobbins, Fitts, and May (plus Buehler being awful) to push the guys into multiple starts for the Red Sox, in a perfect world they both spend all last year in the minors refining.

  17. Oviedo could easily find himself in the bullpen to stretch out his arm before jumping it the rotation. If either Tolle or Early make their case in spring training, they should get a shot. Plenty of time with these young guys and there are always missed starts and injuries that require depth.

  18. Plus an absurd amount of depth if anybody goes down. You can never have to much SP. This is a top 3 rotation in baseball, with #1 potential if everyone stays healthy.
