The Fit Question: Reports said DQ wanted his style of defense. Flores is NOTHING like that. Constant pre-snap movement, wild rotations, aggressive blitzing like Greg Williams. Nobody else like him.
Grant’s Take: Flores is extremely experienced (Patriots connection with AP dating to 2008), productive as hell. Miami went from LAST in EPA (2019) to 7th (2020). Minnesota: 17th EPA (2023) â 2nd EPA (2024) â 3rd EPA (2025).

Grant’s Take: Cool that Brady has taken a liking to Jayden. Essentially 7-on-7 drills while hanging with Brady – can’t be a bad thing. Jayden turned down endorsements last year to focus on football, so this is calculated.

Kliff left on good terms with DQ/Jayden, NOT Adam Peters (disconnect confirmed). Brian Flores would be ELITE hire but expensive ($5M+) and doesn’t run DQ’s defense style. Jayden hanging with Brady in Saudi Arabia can only help.

If we can land Brian Flores, that is an instant upgrade. I doubt he leaves Minnesota though, especially if they offer him a similar contract to what we offer.

Jayden has been in some NFL flag football ads, and depending on what the QB scene looks like in 2 years, I think he has a chance to play in the Olympics so this might be a move to get some flag football tape out there

Grant- do you really see DQ wanting Flores here? Flores is a no nonsense, tough, physical coaches. I could see it clashing with DQ's buddy buddy, friendship, and hugs routine. No more shortened practices. Flores demands 110% and calls out his players. Plus, if DQ has a down moment, everyone would be calling for Flores to replace DQ.
Plus, Minnesota wont let him walk. Doubtful anyway.

You are absolutely right about how the young players donât develop because they donât get reps if there are too many old veterans on the roster. I look at it this way: if a rookie performed well enough in college to be a first or second day draft pick, theyâve already proved that they have the ability to play at a high level. If theyâre not performing at that same level in the NFL, the problem is not the player. Theyâve already shown that in the right circumstances, they can play well. The problem is the coaching. Either theyâre not being coached well or their talents donât fit the scheme. If the issue is coaching, get a better coach. If they donât fit the scheme, your coach should know not to draft players who donât fit your scheme and you should get a better coach.
So JD can't play NFL football but he can play flag football in wherever!!??? Is this NOT COMPLETELY STUPID TO ANYONE ELSE?????? Everyone want's to see this or improvement from JD here I JUST WANT TO SEE HIM STAY ON THE FIELD. I know your 28 but do you remember RG3??
