14. henry sets payroll he doesnt know all the offers, he depends on his GM, Henry has given no trade before so thats the GM too, yes the differed money is likely Henry but from what the rumors are it was the no trade and the $10mil. Felger just hates Henry, he is not THAT involved. Breslow has signed or traded for like 30 pitchers and maybe only a handful of hitters. he does not value them, he has money invested up and down the pitching staff though doesn't he. 30 pitchers 5 hitters

16. We’ve got some great starting pitching depth and now we have a legit top of the rotation with Crochet, Suarez, Gray and Bello. I don’t love Breslow but I’ll give him credit for pivoting right away to a #2 starter. Now we just need a 3B/2B one of them being a righty with some power.

18. In spite of Mazz' narrative that the "Sox have had their asses kicked" this off-season, the Sox have improved their team from 2025…. even without "Saint" Alex Bregman and his quad injuries. Last year, the Sox missed out on a true chance to compete in the playoffs when their starting pitching ran out of viable starters. Not this year.
