The literal most overhyped team if ever seen!! Like what have they done. Nothing. Nothing. Id understand the hype when harbaugh was hired sure. But its been that way since herbert got there. Hes done absolutely nothing. Zilch. Pathetic to see when theres actual football teams out here
Next year will probably be the best year. All that cap space
18:46 GOTTA include that comeback by the jags, it’s been pretty bad come playoff time. And as a dolphins fan who wishes we picked him over tua….its been a rough start to his playoff career no matter how you spin it
Chargers be Chargering
The fact we went 11 and six with this o line shows how a competent line would do wonders to Herbert.
Herbert was NOT good in this game but when you combine the fact that his offensive line is horrible and his OC was Greg Roman it’s easy to see why. Before the game Greg Roman offenses have averaged less than 13 pts in the last 5 playoff games, I imagine that average is much lower now. Get Herbert a real OC that knows what to do with him.
Dude mendoza sucks, hes nit helping the raiders
they’re not narratives at this point. herbert just crumbles
Is Justin Herbert just Andy Dalton 2.0?
One thing to remember, it's the chargers and they are cursed I swear
I’m a Herbert fan and it’s crazy to believe he’s the last quarterback to our past for 5000 yards personally, I think he fits more of a Kliff Kingsbury system
Acho was always right about Mr social media qb
I love this for the Chargers 😂😂
Both OTs gone for season…Becton played hurt ..Ummmmm and you think that might be the problem on offense ….This guy does not understand how important the Oline is to your whole team …..This is real football…Not fantasy…
as a chargers fan, watching this team is frustrating. Justin Herbert is legit, but the O line is realllyy bad and he still makes bad decisions sometimes. Our defense has always been good but im stuck wondering if fixing this o line will actually take us over the top. I think it won't. Going against the Broncos and Chiefs every year in the AFC west is kinda sad.
The Chargers are one of the 8-12 cursed franchises in the league.
They will ALWAYS disappoint you.
Stop it, we all seen this o line this season and the ridiculous play calling. Roman has been terrible the last 2 years, and the jags game guess who the coach was… BRANDON STALEY, best believe if we just had a better coordinator that could actually ADAPT and not be predictable, we woulda made it to the superbowl. Herb was the reason we even got in the door this year.
it is not that difficult to build a decent O-line
They said the same thing about Peyton but he eventually got it done
they should consider moving to San Diego
For Herbert's performance, I think he just got happy feet and wasn't confident in the pocket anymore after what he's received from his protection all season.
Having the 32nd ranked O-line and getting QB hit 129 times can tend to do that. He basically couldn't get back to the multiple read play style he's great at because he wasn't used to having the time. That's why he was doing the whole first-read and tuck thing despite having more time than usual in this game.
We expect him to be superman on every down and ignore the cumulative toll his body has taken. It's true he could've played better, but I think it was just indicative of him not trusting his O-line anymore despite them playing better than expected.
It was all going to crumble at some point.
A little off on the take of Charfers in my Opinion. 1st time I questioned one of your takes.
12 carries for 30 yards is what happens when you have no #1 RB behind a destroyed line.
We knew this would happen and tge holes should be filled.
We will see… but think Chargers are top contender next year
Should say all 4 playoff losses because he lost to the raiders in a win and get in game where he was begging the to tie😂
I can't remember a team that made the playoffs that I've been less impressed by. They had some amazing games during the regular season, but there's just this intuitive feeling that they can't hang, even moreso then the Panthers this year. Personally I don't put it as much on the players as the coaching and system. Just feels like they never manage to elevate their players above their normal capabilities.
You dont think that 4 new oline(2 all pro caliber), new OC, and $100mil in free agents….. cant add 2-3 wins?! I think you need to reanalyze this take.
Prayers for Justin Herbert’s lifeless body on the ground
Man Herbert was getting murdered all season 🫠🤣
Herbert had no trust in his O-line vs the patriots. He was speeding through reads and missing some openings.
I think its either go all in this off-season and if some how they still lose in the wildcard/first round next year just blow it all up. I think herbert plays so well in the regular season because hero ball works. The fact that to win alot of the games this team has won he has to have a highlight reel day. This team rarely wins when herbert isnt making crazy plays. But come playoff time teams know how to beat them. Herbert cant just run around and throw the ball like in the regular season. I think its the same as lamar and allen (obviously not saying herbert is better or anything) but lamar and to a small exent allen. Allen has won playoff games and played well in those games. But if the ultimate goal is a SB or bust. It is comparable. I think the texans game last year summed it up, great coverage all game, no run game. It seems all the teams have to do is lock up ladd and keenan and basically force justin to play hero ball and with a god awful oline we see how that turns out.
They need to win so they don’t lose
I'm out on Justin Herbert he's a fraud I don't want to hear any more about how Herbert is a top five QB or that he's a franchise QB I don't want to hear that because I don't give a crap what you do in the regular season it doesn't matter the true test of whether or not you are a franchise top five QB is what you do in the playoffs.
Justin Herbert has been one of the worst quarterbacks to ever play in the playoffs even Daniel Jones has won a playoff game and played well in the playoffs this is pathetic.
Greg Roman was a bad hire. The dudes system usually gets figured out in about 3 years. The thing is his system has been stale for a while and it doesn't even take 3 years anymore. Greg's system is good for run first team with a mobile QB. As an OC he is 100% a bad pairing for Herbert. Should have never been hired. Most boring offense I have ever seen. Im a life time 49ers fan so I know all about this dude and as soon as the Chargers hired him I knew it was a bad idea. Herbert needs a Ben Johnson Kyle Shanahan type of OC.
I don't think the situation is as dire as the title makes it to be. They have a clear path to get a Guard in the first round, still have their franchise tackles, and still have offensive weapons to build around. Losing Jessie Minter is gonna suck if he goes but I believe Harbaugh is gonna work extensively to find a good replacement
The most cap space in the NFL. No ball knowledge
