  17. For the first time in a while I am excited for the future. I still don’t like a lot of things this regime (including ownership) has done but I don’t wish cancer on ANYONE! I just hope Harbaugh is able to do his job and fill out the roster (and coaching hires) the was HE wants to and without interruptions from unnecessary people (Mara, Chris).

  21. We’ve all been on his case for a few years now. He’s letting nepotism get in the way of the franchise. Hiring Harbaugh doesn’t change that.

    At the same time, how the hell does one tell their own brother they’re fired from the family business? Its gotta be hard af to do that.

    John Mara is not Jim Dolan. He’s not Woody Johnson. This guy lives and breathes NY Football Giants. He loves this team like we the fans do. I think that’s clear for anyone to see. More importantly, that’s what Harbaugh saw. Today is a great day to be a Giants fan.

    Also, in case someone shows him this thread. Fuck Cancer, Mr. Mara. Kick its sorry ass.

  32. Mara has tons of flaws as an owner, but I do appreciate how for the most part, he doesn’t intentionally embarrass the Giants. Can’t really say that for the other owner in Metlife and some other owners.

  33. Closest comparison to this moment that I have as a Giants fan is when we got Eli after years of Dave Brown and Danny Kanel and Kent Grahm, we’ve got reason to hope again. Not exactly the same, but really close
