My dad had left that game earlier in the quarter, thinking the colts were done. The crowd was going crazy, I was screaming and hugging complete strangers in the stands before…the miss.
Man, that really still hurts to see.
Still haunts me… I was there for the MNF game that year against the Steelers…Week 12. We crushed them and to watch this unfold in the Playoffs was a tragedy to say the least…

I flew in from San Diego, and sat on the 50yd line for that game. Devastating loss, to say the least. A bunch of us Hoosiers were just talking about the game in Atlanta, last Friday.
I was young man at the time and I got so drunk and angry.
Every time I watch this replay I can’t for the life of me figure out why he didn’t just hit the sideline and jet. This play and missed FG from Idiot Kicker, not being able to stop Vogel with the number 1 scoring defense and DPOY, the OT loss in San Diego, and Hank Baskett’s bitch ass and the pick-6 in SB XLIV.
