Some no brainers, but also some truly strange picks. Sweeney in the OF? No Gordo? No Amos Otis?

And listen, I love Vinnie, but don't understand how you put him over Sweeney AND Hosmer (at least at this point in his career).

What are y'all thoughts?

  12. It’s a shame there’s no Amos Otis, Lorenzo Cain, Mike Moustakas, or Freddie Patek. I understand why, but these guys are Royal royalty.

  13. Just make this the 2014/2015 roster and call it good. Make Moose the DH so we can keep George on there.

  14. The longer you look at these lists the worst they get. Not having Gordon or Cain (don’t need both) is wild, then seeing Sweeney as OF. And like – dude I love Vinnie but having him as an alltimer 1B for the Royals? You coulda put Sweeney there!

    Like -I think Vinnie can *get* there, but to say that now? WILD. I know it’s favorites not best…which makes the exclusion of Cain even more baffling.

    Also fuck Frank White put in Omar Infante!

    Only change I’d consider is Willie Wilson in for Lorenzo. Which pains me but he was my mom’s favorite player.

  22. Of the 2 lists, I think Reynolds is the better one.

    Beltran had a better career overall but I think Cain had a better impact in KC and is more of a fan favorite so he’d get the nod there. 

    Also I don’t like picking 2 players at one position. Grow a pair and pick one and in this case I’d pick BWJ at SS.

    Saberhagen at SP and Quis at Closer too.
