“Kubiak took a unit that finished the 2024 season ranked 18th in scoring and 14th in yardage and immediately turned them into an elite group – finishing the 2025 campaign ranked third in points per game and and eighth in yards. Kubiak’s best work was at the quarterback position, where he helped maximize the good things that Sam Darnold does on the field and minimized his weaknesses as much as possible. In the first half of the season Darnold was a legitimate MVP candidate before defenses switched up on him, leading to a slew of turnovers.”

  9. Any hire now is 2nd tier. Once again the incompetent Falcons missed the boat and will have to settle for either a 1st time unproven head coach or a fired also ran. No a good start for Ryan and the new regime.

  12. Falcon fans what are we thinking about Jesse Minter? I personally feel he is one of the best options (maybe the next Mike McDonald type), but I also feel Falcon nation will riot if it’s not an offensive minded HC. Interested in y’all’s thoughts.

  13. I think it’s good we didn’t hire the big name and rather focus on finding the perfect fit for us and our future – trust in the process guys. Lot’s of noise and distractions come along with such a big hire, let alone the expectations. I’d rather we keep our heads down, stay in the Zone and get to work with a young but talented and aspirational HC this offseason 😤

  14. Penix is not the QB of the future. He’s injury prone as any QB and he’s regressing. He isn’t going to see much play in 2026. Call a spade a spade and try to snag Trinidad Chambliss either this year or next depending on when he declares. Maybe we can actually snag a CJ Stroud of our own.

I don’t understand this cake you don’t want Kevin Stefanski because we know what he is, but isn’t that the entire point he’s a two-time coach of the year and the only coach to have success up there in Cleveland until they screwed it up with the Deshaun Watson situation and now you wanna go and get a rookie head coach With a roster that’s capable of going to the playoffs?

  25. Im more concerned about the organizational structure than who will be the coach. Im wondering if John Harbaugh saw a potential mess with an aging owner who actively involves himself in questionable decisions, an inexperienced president in Matt Ryan and a team that doesn't have a GM yet and whether that GM will be a good working relationship for him. He probably weighed all of that plus the uncertain qb situation and decided…naw, I'm going to the Giants. I have to admit…im super worried about the next 3 -5 years regardless of who the coach is. I think we may have a bigger mess than what we already had. We might become the cleveland of the NFC. Sad 😔
