What hurts the most is that Miami was up by double digits most of the game. It’s the hope being shattered that hurts. This team’s mental lapses are horrendous. In the 4th I wanted to throw something at the tv. Simons got hot and was unstoppable, fine, not much you can do there. Spo asks for someone to double team him, it immediately backfires into an easy Hauser 3 because Miami stupidly decides to double team him at the top of the 3 point line. Why. Why was that necessary? Then the team just settled for 3 after missed 3 over and over. I think they went 5 minutes without ever attacking the paint. The lack of box outs was infuriating too.
Honestly, for the past two seasons Mazzulla has made Spo his bitch. He’s outcoached him repeatedly and it should really call into question Spo’s status as this mythically good coach.

What is the direction of this team? We didn’t even make Herro an offer to extend him, not even for cheap, so obviously there’s concerns about him being part of our future. We love 33 year old Norm and want to keep him, we paid Niko, doesn’t look like we’re plan on keeping Wiggins past his current contact.
If we aren’t selling these guys then what’re we doing? We have like 3 people on this team who could play in the 4th quarter of a high leverage playoff game… do we actually want to be good again anytime soon?
I’m sure this will go on the W/L record BS of when Herro plays. My question is, how much longer do I have to suffer watching Jovic and Fontecchio out there? My bad, I have two questions…WTF is Ware because it better be injury related.
