How Good was the Detroit Red Wings Dynasty?

1. Hey I’ve been out of the country for more than 20 years. Is Detroit still considered “Hockey Town “ ?

2. As a huge Wings fan…I’ll admit we have a VERY spoiled fanbase. I know it’s been a rough decade, but just look at the list of championships, hall of fame players, and accolades. It’s almost unmatched…not just in hockey but in all sports. There are basically a couple teams in each sports that are on the Wings level organizationally and historically. Watching the Kane 500th goal and the Fedorov number retirement brought back a lot of memories of what being a Wings fan was like until the rebuild started. Here’s to hoping this is just the start of another good period.

4. Very spoiled fan base, for sure.4 cups in 10 years, most teams win 2 at most, they won 3 then reloaded and won another, shouldve been 2 if not for datsyuks ankle injury in 08/09. Unbelievable high level hockey for almost 2 decades.

5. It wasn’t even close when the wings won. Like look at the series in years we won. So much credit to go around
