Hey Brad..how about that Quin challenge?????? At what point do we start talking about QUIN???? We suck at home….and we question a lot of his rotations! Is Quin the guy who is capable of lighting a fire under their behinds? Lack of physicality and focus!!! Just sayin! ONSI…roll up your sleeves and PLEASE get us some interior help and a thug or 2!
Predicted a loss in this spot and was unsurprised to see us collapse like that. Portland continues to be our truth serum, last season and this season they reveal our weaknesses and make us look like a high lottery team.
Onyeka probably should've shot about 8/12 from 3 this game. He had a WIDE open 3 available almost every trip down the floor and it felt like he was slightly rushing them. This game could've been put away for good with about 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter if he didn't shoot like garbage.
Portland is gonna be good, perhaps as soon as next year. They have everything lined up to follow the OKC model. Good physical point of attack defenders and a professional foul baiter on the other end of the court.
Maybe it's because Risa and KP have been out for a few games, but this team feels like it got smaller somehow by trading Trae away. Also McBallhog is playing like he's still on a bad team. We need him to shoot somewhere between 5 and 10 less shots per game because he's really not meshing well with Jalen or NAW.
Go Hawks!
Eventually the Hawks will find out that Coach Quinn is just not good enough
Wouldn't be surprised to find out Jalen has been sick the last couple days. He did not look himself on Tuesday.
Hard to believe the Trailblazers can compete without generational Scoot Henderson.
JJ….one of the best athletes in the NBA….almost 40 min….NO offensive rebounds….NO stealls….NO blocks…..6 TURNOVERS!!!! I don't think that's quite GIANNIS like at all!!! JJ is on a very good..team friendly contract….Our coach isn't getting the most out of him! Is JJ..shutting him out???Our leader…..on the court..(JJ)…has to be a lot BETTER! The Blazers without AVDIJA….are very mediocre!
Well, it's obvious and has been that the Hawks have no clear direction. I know they struggle with big man play and rim protection with no true center. They are just too small and can only with get scoring from mid-range or perimeter. I've also come to the conclusion that Quinn can't lead these guess any further. The only thing they can cross their fingers for is that a team link the Bucks or the Bulls stay struggling in order to make the play-in. If the play-in is all you can ever get in an Eastern conference that is really not good, then you are not a good team with a good leader.
JJ needs to practice his handle this coming offszn.
We need a solid big. Claxton or even Nurkic. Also, a true PG that can atleast dish passes.
#betterwithouttrae
We need stop sugarcoating and face the reality. The Hawks are terrible without Trae regardless of his defensive liabilities and apparently it doesn't matter, because they still can't play defense. Jalen Johnson is overrated by the fans and media. This team as a whole isn't good and this organization is horrific under the ownership of the Resseler's. This is no doubt a below average team that only cares about profit then building a competitive team. Okongwu SHOULD NOT be taking 15 threes! He is NOT a high volume shooter and Jalen has NO half court game. KP is Mr. Irrelevant and should not have been acquired during the off-season… Yeah, this isn't good at all…
I know OO is undersized but nobody rebounds except him and JJ. DD is our only wing that rebounds at all. Vit-2, LK-2,ZR-3, Mo-3. JJ and OO have no help on the boards
