  1. STOP CRYING SMH. Blame your own cheap owners. Saying Dodgers is bad for baseball is RIDICULOUS & IGNORANCE. They are THE main reason for baseball's rise in popularity the last few years.

  2. Jays need Bichette more than ever now. I doubt he will sign with them after Jays dissed him by making Tucker their number one target. Also, with the Tucker signing Bichette's price will go up. He will want more money than if he signed sooner.

  3. Hard salary cap coming OR baseball dies!!! Now 4th most popular as Soccer has passed it!!! Soccer!!!

The NFL just had the season with the best parity. Basketball, everyone is beating up on each other. MLB and the Players had best get their collective heads out of the A$$es if not in 10 years baseball will be dead, it'll be what Soccer was 20 years ago, an after thought.

Not to mention the NBA and NFL have direct to starting straight out college, while baseball forces 4-year D1 stars to the minors, a demotion for a D1 player making $100k plus NIL money, lesser facilities than D1 schools and bad transportation when compared to D1. Forcing multi-sport high-school and college players away from baseball. My grandsons, (3) all-stars since little league, all-state in high-school, guess what they're playing D1 football because they realized baseball treats 4-year all-American as second class citizens and the NFL rewards college excellence. All 3, would have stuck with baseball if they had the same rookie setup as the NFL.

  4. Can’t blame the dodgers for Arte Moreno not keeping and building around Ohtani, can’t blame them cause Freddie Freeman’s agent deciding to not tell him Atlanta’s final offer and finally can’t blame them for Chaim Bloom being dumb and deciding to trade Mookie away. -Angels fan

  5. You know what the competitive balance tax is at 110%. You figure that out, don't tell me they don't want to win their actions prove it every time.

  6. 60 million per season for Tucker
    70 million for Ohtani
    Betts makes good money
    Freeman makes good money
Don’t get me started on the rotation

Deferred money should not be a thing. Imagine their luxury tax if Tucker and Ohtani already combined for 130 million…

  7. Tucker is a Dodger because he knows championships are won with the Dodgers. And the Dodgers arent ruining baseball the other owners are cheap and don't want to spend money when they are worth billions of dollars. Any team could have signed Kyle Tucker but ownership is just too cheap to do it.

  8. If don't sign Bo and/or another bat. We're just playing all year to come 2nd again. This offseason was not good enough to win a Championship

  9. I do love ruining baseball, even if I'm not the biggest Tucker fan. All he has to do is show up in October and not cause any problems and play well, and that will easily change. I know he's good, but I don't know if he's worth the price tag. Guess that Ohtani money is beyond insane.

  10. Of course Jim Doesn't like this because he is a Blue jay fan. Jim has to realize that the Jays could have offered Tucker a long term deal and a short term deal like the Dodgers and Mets did. But they didn't . It looks like the Dodgers will only have Tucker for 2 maybe 3 years. That's all, they need to win the WS in 26 and 27 and Tucker will help that.

  11. What’s crazy is what these ball players are making in salary. Just because the Mets have all this money doesn’t mean we have to be a part of this craziness; it's getting out of hand. These prices are ridiculous. This just moved the needle for the middle-of-the-road players; everybody's salary is going up because of this. This is nonsense. Can’t wait for the lockout, and my team has all the money in the world to spend, and I still don’t agree.

  12. Suckers Mets & Jays. Tucker is no where near a $60 million player. Thank the Dodgers for the upcoming lockout,😂 Cohen had Pete & Diaz who wanted to be a Met but he turned his back on them both, how’s it feel Uncle Stiff? As for the Jays I doubt L.A. fears them after one lucky run.

  13. Mets didn't want to give opt out & he wasn't comfortable signing for 10 years in Toronto. So he shifted to the shorter & higher AAV & not get locked down & hit the market in 2 years…

  14. As a Jays fan this is a little disappointing but the cost was extremely high. This keeps the outfield as a place where a future star can emerge. Barger, Lukes, Schneider and Loperfido now have opportunities. Also this may leave room at the trade deadline to add what's needed.
This isn't a horrible thing for the Jays.

  15. I’ve been saying for weeks that Tucker wasn’t that into the Jays. I wish we’d moved on earlier. How many times are we going to be dropped at the last second. Also…this contract is insane.
