  1. In fairness to me Ive said since Day 1 of the season that any team with KAT on its roster (at his current salary) will never, ever win a championship. Ever.

  2. No way, it’s not funny at all. But whether it’s funny or worth criticizing, the truth is all these people should be ignored. It’s pretty clear who isn’t even trying to be reasonable.

  5. you can criticize the team losing 7 of the last 9 games and looking completely checked out without being a doomer. When is it fair for people to criticize the team? August?

  6. This sub and Knicks twitter are something else. Idk about yall but we’re struggling right now but I’ll take this over the 20 win teams we used to watch year in year out. If yall keep going crazy every day ur not gonna realize what we have. Sure it sucks rn but all hope is not lost

  12. I think New York/New Jersey sports are down pretty bad right now which makes the Knicks being arguably the one good team (outside of MLS/WNBA etc) get way more focus when they are losing.

    Probably just means I might listen to the radio for a little bit while playing like Hades 2 or something to not stress too much about it

  14. They have lost seven of nine games, and that is on coaching. Not saying he should be fired but he’s not immune to criticism either.

  15. I said it before the game. I’m a glass half full guy so I turned my frustration with this team into hope that they would respond accordingly with their best players out against a team they have struggled against. The offense looked fine for the most part and the fake comeback attempt felt palpable for a second, but it didn’t matter. Objectively though, this team plays some of the worst defense collectively borderline unbearable to watch and Leon should really ask himself how Thibs made this same exact same group competent enough to make it to 6 games in the ECF last year.

    My biggest frustration is that the problems that plagued Mike brown led groups is plaguing this squad now. When their pace is slowed down and defenses are blowing up actions it feels like the offense doesn’t adjust in real time as well. The defense is still putrid and he hasn’t been able to get these guys to play connected for long stretches. At some point you gotta ask, if he hasn’t learned from his mistakes, is the best version of this team really good enough to win 16 games before we lose 12 in a 3 month stretch?

  17. it oukd be worse. atleast we still in playoff contention. i prefer this over the years when we weee in permanent tank mode with no future

    but yeah we arent good at all. we look really bad

  18. This team deserves all the hate. I’m sorry. This is the entertainment industry and they make so much fucking money to play basketball. I love the Knicks and have been a fan for so long. When they play like shit, they need to know. They can cry into their satin sheets and nightgowns.

  19. Sure, some people go overboard, but the team has looked like ass in the past week. Naturally people will be upset. Part of the reason for this sub’s existence is for people to complain/vent

    I wonder if op had similar thoughts in the other direction, when (some people) in this sub were acting like we were gonna run through the conference in the playoffs without breaking a sweat like the KD Warriors after winning some games in a row

  21. I agree. It has come to the point where we have blamed everyone but the maintenance staff at MSG. I think we need to reflect inward and ask if the Knicks recent record is a FAN problem?

  22. These “stop crashing out after every loss🥺” are the same people that said when we started the season kinda poorly “at least wait till we’re 40 games in to start complaining” like ok here we are!

    I don’t understand why it’s so ridiculous to hold this team to a higher standard. We’re in the pretty small window of “this is our time for a championship” and we’ve lost 7 out of our last 10 games why is that not worthy of criticism? I urge anyone to explain to me how this stretch since the cup shows that we are title contenders. And we had too much pride to hang the damn cup banner. pfff
