Trade value is potentially high but please do not trade Donovan. Cards need a proper veteran to take this young team forward. The utility upside will weigh in in the near future I’m sure

Donovan been unanimously considered the most productive player this team has had last 3 years couple to his very modest salary.
Imo … the owner and his henchmen have decided that its time to punish the fan base over the dwindling attendance.
I'm just going to say it now and draw a lot of glares from other stl fans. If Donny is traded , when it's time to extend Winn he's going to opt free agency , unless his screws are loose. If he wants to win , he best look elsewhere cause Dewit isn't staking claim to anymore post seasons for 4 or 5 yrs. Outside this organization everyone sees this derailed train wreck so it'll become harder and harder to find Donovan like quality.
Why they getting rid of donnie? one of the few that seem to be a positive offensively and defensively on this mediocre group of MLB talent. So many one dimensional players its ridiculous but he might be 1 of 2 the Cards had last year.
This is a 6th place team now. The problem is its a 5 team division
Bo is 3 year 126 million so 42 a year not 60
I'm in the same camp with JD. I want the Cards to keep and extend Donnie. Now if they get an absolute HAUL for him, then I could understand, but it is not what I want to see happen. The kids they are signing are definitely interesting, could be fun to see how they develop. One guy I'm definitely watching is Deniel Ortiz in Peoria. He looks like he could become a STUD. I like that!

There is no way some team is trading a player of Donovan's talent. There is no 3rd baseman that has Arenado elite talent. STL gave the Diamonbacks Arenado for 2 years for Less money than May will make for a year. STL needs a right handed bat and gave Contreras up for two projects. STL controls six catchers and no good outfielders. There was a reason Donovan and Burleson played outfield last year!
