For the Mariners, If Not NOW, then WHEN?
For the Mariners, If Not NOW, then WHEN? This is the best time to be a Mariners fan in this teams history. Yet, the Mariners have yet to add the finishing touches to a team that was one win away from the World Series in 2025. So if they aren’t willing to go all in now, will they ever?

Part of the ship, part of the crew.
Especially considering the impending lockout next year where we could lose an entire year of baseball
It’s already been reported that ketel is likely not getting moved. There is NOT an all in move can we stop with the pipe dream
I wouldn't be surprised if the Mariners have offered Cjintje and another top 10 (Laz, Arroyo), but got turned down. They want MIller or Anderson or Sloan, and I wouldn't do that for Donovan. He's a puzzle piece, and a good one, but not a make or break player. I still think we get it done.
Underbaked for sure. Zulueta could be a nice add so maybe the bullpen hangs on this year but man not getting some sort of bat just sucks. Refsnyder will likely mash which is great. Maybe see a big breakout from Dom but it's hard not playing every day.
So we know ownership continues to "hamstring" the FO with its self imposed salary cap so, for me, the question that comes to mind is "have the owners also told the FO that they are not allowed to trade away any of the top prospects?".
I want to think they haven't but it's hard not to think that because why else are we hoarding all these prospects especially over these last 2 offseasons AND last seasons trade deadline. If the FO had traded a couple of the top 100 MLB prospects in our farm system I have no doubt we could have been playing in the WS…and had a DAMN GOOD chance of winning it.
I'm going to save you all some time. Don't be fooled. Acquiring Donavon is not going all in
Now that Bo is a Met maybe Baty is availble? Would be a decent piece, but not sure if they want another left handed bat.
It feels like they're just trying to be ok. Hey look we Signed Naylor we're trying. No no they're not they literally they had no other choice. No one in the minors and to make the fans belive their going to be competitive that was the only option. Now they can cry to everyone that they were in on everyone but things didn't go their way.
You can spend and build the minor league system. The Dodgers are 1st in both
Sign Rhyse Hoskins to DH and let's GO!
I feel like everyone keeps forgetting that the Mariners wouldn't have even made thee playoffs if they didn't win something like 15 out 16 games down the stretch.
The Mariners could easily miss the playoffs next season, especially if the pitching doesn't stay healthy.
They’re built for 2027 & 2028. I assume they want to extend the pitching staff then play into Naylor’s last 3 seasons for championships with a new gen core. Donovan is the only move.
Sounds good to me, all in! That will be $0.57 to call …
I'd actually much rather they went after Nico than Donovan. Much better defender imo, and excellent on the base paths. Nothing saying the Cubs are being as greedy as the Cardinals. And I don't blame the Cards. But Brendan Donovan is not THE guy that will get you over the top. I'd be happier with the addition of Nico Hoerner.
