Wonder why
There were no call ups at practice so “something” is happening. I’d put money on a Hameenaho call up realistically.
White is solid, I expect someone will claim him. Would be an unnecessary loss of a good depth D piece because of this Hamilton dilemma.
I wonder if Fitz is finally making a trade because sending White and Lammikko to Utica opens up enough cap space to add a player making about $1.5 million per year.
I really like White
I thought White was good enough to at least try and get an offensive plug at some point rather than lose for nothing, but I guess we’ll see what moves are being made.
White will have interest. He was pretty solid for us.

Putting these guys on waivers COULD be a case of ‘if they get through’ than the team we’re theoretically trading them to could just stick them right in the AHL without having to put them through waivers beforehand. So this could be clearing these guys now to send off somewhere else afterwards. Or, they’re just hoping they through to free up some space. We’ll see! Hopefully something is happening, finally.
White was often better than several who play regularly.
Is there another LH defenseman hiding somewhere?
I really really hope nobody claims Colton. He was excellent depth and I’d hate to lose him like we did DeSimone
would like to remind everyone as I was just reminded that McLaughlin still exists so our extra forward might end up being him because he’s healthy now? but we have no news about his status so things are still up in the air about it being a call up or a trade

They both suck but Glendenning is actually the worst player in the NHL this year…
