  1. Perhaps I can offer for a different perspective. The Giants are currently negotiating with a new coach and committing to literally hundreds of millions of dollars. I would suggest that it’s a little bit more complicated than a pinky swear. And that is why it’s taking so long.

  2. Looks like the giants are continuing to get in their own way. If this doesn’t get done , it will such a pr disaster for this team. This has to get done

  3. am i crazy for thinking this is great? either harbaugh forces mara to do what should have been done (looking at you mcdonnell and abrams) and clears out some of the incompetence that has existed in that front office and becomes our new HC

or (obviously worse) the organization lets him go because they aren’t willing to do that but that would be a league wide embarrassment and no matter what they can never sell giants fans on “nobody wants to win more than us” when you choose nepotism and feelings over results, that front office would be on borrowed time anyway, it would disgrace the legacy of this organization

harbaugh is changing this organization one way or another, let’s hope its the first way

  4. SHOCKING: the people insisting the reporters had to be wrong and were lying to stir up drama, were in fact wrong

  5. Like Ian says, how the fuck do you mess up the biggest parts of the deal?

This isnt about money at all, its about who has what powers. Ian literally points out how this is usually the very first thing sides agree on.

The Giants somehow did it ass backwards agreeing to contract numbers and then haggling over trying to avoid giving Harbaugh full power

  6. Shouldn’t have been reported by anyone with journalistic integrity until it was a done deal

  7. Why do I feel like Mara’s doofus nephews meddling in personnel is the thing they’re in a disagreement over

  8. To the guy that posts sweeping organizational changes need to be made after every loss about Chris Mara and others…we might be getting our wish lol

  9. It’s gotta be that cuck Tim McDonnell not willing to have some self awareness that’s he’s just rich and not good at his job

  10. I would’ve preferred if the hold up was over money and/or contract terms. Reporting structure scares me because that’s something that should’ve been handled before any offer was even made. Sounds like nepo babies getting in the way of football ppl.

  11. I’ll be real, I wholly believe this is the beat reporters making this into a frenzy that it’s not simply because it’s been so long since they had anything good to report.

Both sides appeared interested from the jump. Harbaugh did tremendous due diligence ahead of time. He went to them first. He stayed 16 hours with them.

I wholeheartedly believe it is fine, it will get done and all of this is just a bunch of reporters dying for clicks and follows.

If I’m wrong we burn this bitch to the ground 🤣

  12. I assume it’s Schoen role. He is lucky to have a job. He sucks. If John says mob the floor then do it.

  13. This is exactly why the media reporting minute by minute all week is ridiculously dramatic 😂 Of course we all followed the coverage, but a little more patience to announce when the deal was officially done, would have made this less aggravating. And then, this will all work out anyway, so all this extra stuff will be for naught.

  14. Gossip Girls. Staring to the New York Giants. Feels like these reports are using horoscopes.

  15. it could be that they are trying to get insurance on the contract and the underwriters on vacation. or it can be a difference on how the year-to-year payout should look. we have no clue

  16. this is a normal part of the signing process and the news got out earlier than it usually does. fans only usually find out after this has been sorted over a week, not in the lead up to signing the refined contract
