    – He gets lost (he’ll learn)
    – Lacks hip mobility + foot/reactionary speed to be play in space/high drop.
    – MIA didn’t execute tags/box outs well
    – Needs to get better at the cat & mouse game in drop

    I also broke down in another post yesterday why I thought Ware didn’t get much playing time in regards to his[ default defensive weaknesses & tendencies vs certain schemes](https://www.reddit.com/r/heat/comments/1qe8zpa/why_i_kinda_understand_spo_not_playing_ware_much/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button), particularly drop coverage.

    Drop coverage is best employed when you want to protect the paint and limit rim pressure without overextending your defense. It is bad against high volume three point shooting team whether they make or miss* because the Center is giving up so much space. This is the reason why Spo went back to Bam because of his ability to switch.

    All that said, I think he should be getting more mins. Learn through fire.

  2. I understand him not getting minutes, what I don’t get is Spo calling him out publicly after a bad loss that he had very little to do with. Why didn’t he name drop any of the players who were actually on the floor during that 4th quarter meltdown.

  3. Tbh this is only the tip of the iceberg. Erik should banish Ware to the bench for life. Ware ain’t it, idk what everyone sees in him. Potential my ass. Erik knows what’s up since he’s the greatest coach in the ~~world~~ universe.

    Contrary to what the haters in this sub say, Erik is not washed and anyone who says otherwise is correct

  4. He needs to continue getting reps and learning in the environment. He isn’t going to learn mechanics, footwork or hone is reflexes on the bench.

  6. Here’s the thing. Some of are not children that aren’t able to discern independently. I ask, where is this energy for Jovic? The guy that just got paid for 60 million dollars for doing absolutely nothing.

    Spoelstra keeps throwing the kid under the bus and it’s like ” well bro, he aint the only problem you got there pal” if he’s so mad and shit, then go tell your bosses to nut up and get you some quality players. Wasn’t Ware made untouchable for Kd? I dont understand these bums
