I think the hug during the game right after the foul is a really big deal. Like, that wouldn’t happen at any level of sports. A dad wouldn’t hug his own son if he was on the opposing team and just had a dirty foul against the dad’s player. Even in middle school. It’s not how you play team sports.
One thing I don’t like about Mike is, yes players should complain less and focus more on the game but that doesn’t mean you as the coach shouldn’t, you should be the first one calling out ref bullshit, not allowing it.
If you don’t wanna do it during the game, fine, but at least do it in interview or sort.
Those last 2 foul on KAT was bullshit, his elbow barely even scraped Potz beard and that little bump was done the same by Draymond all game long with zero fouls called

I think this would be okay if it’s his first stint AWAY from the Warriors. To me, its absolutely okay for him to dap up players from the Kings, as it’s his most recent gig. It’s not a good look given the circumstance and he’s already SEVERAL years removed from the Warriors and is a current COACH – NOT A PLAYER. Is it okay for Doc Rivers to be buddy with Magic, Celtics, Clippers, Philly while he’s on the Bucks?
Our guys are struggling right now and need some unity and support. It’s cool that he publicly called out KAT for lack of effort but he needs to call out the refs when they’re throwing bullshit whistles at him too. He’s been a breath of fresh air and I can see a higher ceiling with him than Thibs, but at least Thibs stuck up for our guys and called out the refs/league when Jalen Brunson was getting hammered every night without calls.
